The Club Lounge is fantastic, offering great selections for drinks, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. It’s a lovely spot to relax with beautiful views.
While the resort is a bit older, it’s incredibly well-maintained. It's set in a “natural” jungle setting facing the ocean, which is such a refreshing change from the usual manicured landscapes. The jungle is kept in check, but the feel is authentic—there’s bird song all around, making it feel truly connected to nature. It’s rare to experience this in a luxury resort!
The fitness center is small but has everything you need and is never crowded. The equipment is all new and in great shape.
Our stay did have a bit of a bumpy start. Some of our bookings switched from refundable to non-refundable without explanation from IHG, which caused a bit of confusion. For example, suite upgrade vouchers cannot be applied to non-refundable rates, and the hotel couldn’t adjust back. While this wasn't an issue in the end, it’s something to keep in mind for corporate rates in the future. The check-in process was also a bit disorganized but worked out in the end.
There was a small issue with lounge access initially, but the lounge manager resolved it quickly and to our complete satisfaction.
The sun hits the lounge in the evening when cocktails are served at 5 pm, making the area warm as it is all outdoors. That said, the location is perfect with stunning sunset views.
The staff throughout our stay were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We want specially thank Jan, Ter, Marky, Mint and Lisa.
Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Club lounge sanctuary

Thank you for a very nice stay! We have stayed here numerous times for many years. The club lounge is very good, and it is a sanctuary between busy town visits and customer visits. The service is impeccable and we want to give special thanx to Renalyn Takano for that extra service on top of perfect. We had a perfect Christmas and will come back if the prices are close to 2024.
I see that the corporate rates (only "X GOLD" rates available) for 2025 are extremely high, much more than my two companies will allow.

Viktoria with club lounge team!

We were happy to back in our second home. Viktoria with team in the Club lounge made the evening cocktails fantastic! Very nice, efficient and no stress. Everybody is happy, staff and guests. The champagne stock was always full and the service impeccable. I also noticed the rosé champagne alternative, nice! Afternoon tea was beefed up and much better than it used to be. The evening canapees were cancelled due to too many guests. It was more like a luxury buffé. Honestly, I preferred this set up.
The only disappointment was the reduced cocktail hour 18-20 instead of 17-20. Dinner time in Germany suits a cocktail hour beginning 17-17.30 so I would like see a compromise in the future, 17.30-20? Also, guests were a bit stressed at 18.00. Maybe they did not know about the new times, there was a cue to everything.
I was very impressed that our preferred extras for the bed were remembered, extra duvet cover and extra thick bed mattress.
All in all, a very nice stay.

Rooms are very nice and House Keeping efficient and thorough. The beds are very hard and we requested an extra thin mattress, but next time I will ask for another one. See you again in December.

As always it is a pleasure to be back at this lovely property! The beach side is extra nice. The Club lounge is very good and the staff more than excellent. I noticed freshly baked bread during breakfast and evening cocktails, well done! A special thanx to ALL the staff in the club lounge and the extra pampering by Tarn at house keeping.

After 4y not being able to visit ANA Tokyo finally we came back. Just the signature fragrance in the lobby made me happy. The service is fantastic! The Club lounge is fantastic and I especially noticed the increased service level (more staff) and the added new Champagne Telmont was a really nice touch. I want to extend special thanx to all the Club lounge staff for making our stay perfect. Many rooms are being renovated which we did not know until 3d before arrival. There was absolutely no sound pollution, but it complicated using the Confirmable suite upgrade voucher and/or complimentary Ambassador upgrade. But the biggest frustration is the booking system. When we booked through IHG.com in Feb the room rate was 41900JPY incl service charge, tax, extra person. After a few days it automatically increased to 50160JPY. I contacted the hotel and they said it was wrong, and it should be 47658JPY. I made a new booking and got the same original price, but the same thing happened again. The hotel did not understand and blamed IHG so I contacted IHG centrally and they confirmed the original price was correct, but it is only the hotel that can make the change. Anyway, after a few months the priced changed again to 53035JPY. I then called to hotel again and came in contact with a nice person that confirmed it was 45185JPY. I was tired of all the hassle and accepted the price even though it was not the original price (IHG centrally could not help just confirm I was right). At check-out however it still was wrong/higher. But of course I had been in contact with the hotel and got a written mail about it, so it was sorted out in the lovely Club lounge. But please fix this problem. This time I traveled private and could accept a higher cost, but when I am travelling for business my manager will not accept a higher cost than approved beforehand. Our stay was however lovely!

We stayed here for the second time as IC and this time the Club lounge was open. It was very nice indeed. Especially the Nespresso and the Champagne! Top 5 IC Club lounges in Europe for sure. The breakfast was very nice and you could also order items from the main breakfast if you wanted something more (There was however no menu card). The breakfast area in the club lounge was very big compared to the total lounge area and closed off the rest of the day. The afternoon tea (tapas) and evening tapas was nice but if you were late it was not refilled even if it ended 1h before end time. This was however not a problem for us, but we heard some comments about it. The personnel in the reception and club lounge was very good. They were struggling with a fully booked hotel and a bit understaffed, but did very well. We will come back for sure, if the room rates are kept on the same level. Thank you for a nice time!
