Yes, I recommend this property.
This is my favoriate hotel because of the location, the VIEW, and the staff. Everything was great, especially the lounge. I was happy to hear that they planned to start the room renovations soon - it is overdue. Everything else checked out.

Decent option if on business trip
Yes, I recommend this property.
I booked this hotel because I had to do some work while in Santo Domingo, so the location was less a priority. The hotel is in the middle of the business district - it is a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. I used my Confirmable Suite Upgrade voucher earned as a Diamond Elite, so I got the Pool View Suite. I specifically requested a high floor which is permanently in my profile, but I only got to the 5th floor which is basically two floors above the pool level, so the view was nothing outstanding. No efforts were made to move me to a higher floor - apparently they had suites all the way up to the 20th floor. The IC club is on the 21st floor which had stunning views of the city. The Club offers a nice breakfast, as well as food and drinks between 6-8 which seemed to have been very popular. The room was large with a separate living area and a huge bathroom. Everything was satisfactory, except the AC was very loud and the fan was always on (unless one completely turned off the AC). Staff were really nice and friendy, both in the Club and at the Front Desk. Parking was easy with no hassle to get in an out. The pool was also great, and the gym well equipped for my purposes.

Layover stay
No, I do not recommend this property.
It was a dated hotel as most other Crowne Plaza hotels in the US. They have a shuttle service which was convenient. There was only one person at the front desk, so there was a wait at check-in. The room type was a Double Refrigerator which I found odd as having a minibar size fridge should not be an advertized big deal in a $200-room. My Diamond upgrade was a higher floor (with view of the parking lot and the highway). In retrospect, I should have chosen a more modern Holiday Inn property with better value.

Third time's the charm
Yes, I recommend this property.
This was our third visit to this property. We came back to Tahiti specifically because of this resort. It is beautifully maintained with all the amenities that we need: a room with a view from the balcony, a long swimming pool, a lagoon with fish, a well-equipped gym, and ample areas for relaxing around the property. Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful.
This time I returned as a Diamond Elite Ambassador and I was offered complimentary breakfast which was a great value. Since last year I noticed some improvements in efficiency (no need to sign the check for the complimentary breakfast) and in sustainability (recycle bins and solar panels).
My only issue was that I could not really use my hard-earned Confirmable Suite Upgrade voucher. For some reason, they did not make their suits available at all, and the OW villas were apparently taken off as an option since 2023. So we ended up in a Premium room due to my Ambassador status. It was nice but I was really looking forward to being able to use my guaranteed suite upgrade.
In the restaurant I noticed that my name had no status assigned to in their books due to some glitch between synching the front desk and restaurant systems, but once I pointed it out it was resolved and I was treated exceptionally nice at the restaurant which made a great deal of difference.
I want to thank staff at the front desk and in the restaurant, as well as the cleaning staff, for their outstanding efforts making our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. This is a well-run resort and I would not stay anywhere else in Tahiti.

To complement your event, we have the perfect rooftop garden for your social gatherings. Most of our rooms feature natural daylight. Audio visual equipment and catering options are available upon request.
You can enjoy your workout in the hotel's Fitness Center located on the top floor and unwind in adjacent sauna. Looking for a bite to eat? Enjoy breakfast at the Cult Restaurant or join us for nibbles and bits and dinner at the Axis Café surrounded by greens.

Yes, I recommend this property.
I had a fantastic stay in my new favorite hotel in Budapest! The rooms are great, the location is convenient with easy access to public transport, and you are steps away from a large shopping center. The breakfast is still the best here, but what made my stay especially great is the attention and kindness of staff. They really went above and beyond and made me feel truly appreciated as a loyal member. Thank you!

Some oversights made this stay less enjoyable as it could have been
The room was quite OK, but some oversights at check-in and in the restaurant, especially the way it was handled, were quite disappointing. At the end, the manager resolved the issue which was appreciated, but left me wondering if the 10-15 pound difference was worth this review.

Best stay so far
Yes, I recommend this property.
As a Diamond Ambassador, I used my Guaranteed Suite Upgrade voucher for this stay which was granted. The room is spacious and well equipped. It also included access to the lounge which was really nice. The hotel is very well placed with direct access to a shopping mall and public transportation. Most of the rooms do not have a view but you one can access the roof top to get a nice view of the city. I would underscore two aspects of my stay that truly made a difference. Staff were really helpful and I appreciated the personal attention. The breakfast selection is rich and good quality. I will surely return.

A bit underwhelming this time around
Yes, I recommend this property.
Staff was great as usual. I did receive the minimum upgrade to the Danube side but to be honest I had been spoiled before with better upgrades - this room was a Classic River View right before the fire door on the corridor on a low floor (my preferences clearly state high floor). For the first night the TV said someone else's name for this room. The loyalty credits did not apply to the minibar so I wasted most of it. I did not get a bill at checkout. Yet it remains my favorite hotel with about 80 stays in the last 20+ years. The view is still unbeatable.

Bit of a disappointment
No, I do not recommend this property.
I needed a hotel to stay on my last day in Orlando and picked the Crowne Plaza hoping it is somehwere between a Holiday Inn and an Intercontinental in quality. It was not. There was only one person working at checkin. He did an excellent job under the circumstances but it was far from an efficient checkin process. I arrived around noon and had to wait nearly until 3 oclock to get the room. The rooms was pretty dated. The pool was smaller than it looked on the photos. The breakfast selection was also rather basic. It was a nice touch to reserve parking spaces for Diamond Elites; however, upon checkout it turned out that they charged for parking for everyone... Considering the cost of the room I do not think it was a great value.

Third stay, best stay
Yes, I recommend this property.
I usually use this hotel as a backup to the Intercontinental, but the more I stay here, the more likely that it may become my first choice when in Budapest. Other than the view, it beats the IC in most aspects (modern room, better gym, better breakfast, less crowded, less expensive, connected to shopping, etc.). Staff were especially nice and attentive. As a Diamond Elite, I really appreciated the room upgrade.
