Newly Renovated: almost

Pros- Newly renovated -location- breakfast- professional manager-
Cons- did not replace the tubs in the renovation they are old and stained- 3rd party reservation company barely speak English, difficult to communicate with them- they push using the website- if you've never used it before, there's no instructions-

Staff friendly - prepaid increased rates

Overall the motel was good. Beds comfortable. Pool was OK. Fitness center great. I did prepaid rate for 5 nights. Upon check out they increased the rate. I showed them my reservation and they just said they don't know why it's different it just is. They took the towels everyday and on 2 days they didn't replace towels, so we didn't have any and needed to go to front desk to get them. Didn't replace in room coffee but they do have coffee in lobby. Great variety of breakfast foods. About 15 minutes to airport. Need some updates but they don't effect your stay. Doors peeling in bathroom and ceiling needs painting.

Mik at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice remodel and decorations. The room was remodeled and very clean and comfortable with nice decor.

Look else where for a good night sleep

AC was so loud when it runs, we were not able to sleep after a full day drive. Bathroom was so bad, shower tap wasn’t working good, shower head was super dirty and didn’t even want to look at it. Avoid this hotel.

Clean, Newly Renovated, Outstanding Staff

From the moment I arrived, I enjoyed this Holiday Inn Express & Suites. The night manager was fun and professional, at the same time. The hotel looks brand new, but I know it has been there a long time. I used to live in Palm Coast, and I know it was there. The renovation must have been recent, and they did an outstanding job.the bed was comfortable, as they always are at IHG Hotels.

Great place to stay!

Came back into town for a visit and the Holiday Inn express is the place to stay. It’s conveniently located by the freeway on an off ramps and the building itself is clean and well taken care of. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and super comfy. Highly recommend Holiday Inn Express.

Great stay

Would stay here again if in the area. A little difficult to find but a great hotel for the price. Had some trouble figuring out how to use the remote control for the window shade but an excellent room.

Expected more for the price!

Both your website and the front desk (before checking in) told me that the pool was heated, it is NOT. As a matter of fact, pool was freezing. Toilet seat not secured, kept sliding and felt unsafe but we did not want maintenance disrupting our short vacation. Very little toilet paper, no extra blankets and balcony door extremely difficult to open, bruised arm pushing it open. No luggage carts. Called front desk only to be please on hold for 15 minutes. Pixel-ed TV. Not a pleasant stay at all!
