Convenient location to the expo center

I like the fact that this hotel was right across the way from the expo center. The issue I have is that our room was not the cleanest. It looked as though the sheets were not changed, which was disappointing and when I reported it to the supervisor, she seemed like it wasn’t a big deal. There were stains and hair on the sheets from someone else from a previous stay and that was super concerning to me.

Worst Stay!

From check in to check out, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had! The hotel parking lot was tiny, I was charged an additional $25 for parking, there were sirens all night long as well as people yelling in the hallway. The heat in the room did not work and the room was freezing! The smell in the hotel was less then desirable as well! I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, and this is the worst by far! The cost was outrageous as well! $251 for just one night! Very disappointed! Will NEVER stay here again! And quite frankly won't stay in another Holiday Inn!

Not like other Staybridges

I booked this Staybridge due to the Flowood location being out of standard for my work to recompensate. Upon arrival the incidental fee was 4 times more than any other Staybridge that I've used in the past 6 months. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know. Also, the couch in the room was severely stained. The breakfast was subpar compared to other Staybridge's as well.

No air conditioning, no food or beverage offered and lights out int he elevator

No air conditioning - our room was 80 degrees all night, even though it was cold outside. Not told this when we made the reservation or when we checked in. No lights in the elevator except the emergency lights. Very creepy. No shampoo in the hotel at all - had to go shopping. Took 15 minutes to check in because they couldn't find the reservation even though I had a confirmation email and number. Very disappointing. Staff was not friendly except for the Valet who I would rate a 10.

Good Value even though my TV did not work properly

Check In was poor and delayed even though I arrived early. Hotel staff was not prepared for the amount of peaople checking in on a Sunday afternoon. The guest room was comfortable and neat but the television did not work for four nights even though I reported it to the staff four separate times.

Unclean Bed and moldy shower

We found our room dirty.
It had so many hairs on the bed.
The front desk changed the room
In the second room we did not even bother to check. We checked in very late 2:00 am in the morning. We was exhausted.
In the morning we could not take a shower
