Worst stay I’ve had in a HIE in years. On a busy 4 lane highway. Food quality very poor. Noisy refrigerator that ran all night.

As I explained in the beginning of this survey, this room was sub-standard and poorly maintained. Management should never have made this room available for any guests. The staff appeared to be poorly trained and were not responsive to any of my concerns.

Almost every TV had something wrong with it.
The gymnasium was in rough shape.
The only Microwave smelled like burnt food.
Very dungy!
The staff was excellent!
The only part of that hotel i liked was the staff

We found our room had one quarter of a roll of toilet paper for four of us and the employee at the desk told me she could not unlock the upstairs maids' room where more was stored. Can you imagine! a six-story motel with no extra roll of toilet paper. She did not offer to get some from an empty room. We stay here because of the separate bedroom/ TV room. May have to look harder for a similar setup somewhere else. Sam

Charged for honesty

Very unhappy with the handling of the situation with needing to change sheets. My son soiled his pajamas and it leaked through slightly. When requesting new sheets to change them out, the staff said that it was bodily fluids and proceeded to charge me $250 for "damages."
No inspection was done of the sheets or mattress cover. Very unfortunate time to be honest.

Poor Staffing Situation

Arrived for our stay at 4:30pm. Check in time is 3:00pm. All of my rooms were not ready until 5pm. We made it work. Went to use their small meeting room which was not being used at 9pm and the AGM was rude about it and told us the GM would fire him if we used it and didn’t pay the $250 charge. We only needed it for 20 minutes, no trash or set up was needed. Rather we just used the hotel lobby space and it worked fine but the hotel had every excuse in the book when they didn’t meet their own standards but wouldn’t bend an inch when you needed some grace/help. Probably won’t go back to this hotel on future trips to Lake Charles.

BEST AMONG VICKSBURG, MS HOTELS ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER The Vicksburg National Military park is only a few blocks away. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District is across the street. Located just off I-20, the Holiday Inn Express Vicksburg hotel welcomes guests with a cozy fireplace, friendly service, and modern guest rooms and suites. We're close to locally owned and operated eateries allowing guests to easily make dinner plans. Broken fixtures, good beds, great breakfast

We traveled on a Thursday night in March. There were very few cars in the lot, however we were given a room with broken fixtures. The toilet paper holder did not stay upright, causing paper to slide off. There were three exposed screws sticking out in the shower. The desk staff was not friendly and I work in the hospitality industry, so I recognize the importance of this. When paying the price we did, one expects a little better quality.

Staff were gracious, but go elsewhere

Everyone I interacted with at this hotel was so nice. The people at the front desk and the ONE woman working the restaurant. However, this hotel needs work. It’s quite shabby. Every hallway needed vacuuming. Thought it was just my floor, but took the elevator to another floor and it was the same! It looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. All the carpets should be shampooed, at the very least.
The room was ok, but I made sure to always wear shoes, not walk barefoot on the floors. I’d just stayed at similar holiday inn in Tuscaloosa, but this one was very disappointing.
