Sleep quality at 6 floor

This is my third time to stay this hotel and first time at 6 floor, If you have poor sleep quality, be aware that this floor may experience low-frequency resonance sounds from the bar’s sound system on the 5th floor.

Located in the centre of the Hangzhou’s business district, Qianjiang New Town, InterContinental Hangzhou is uniquely designed with a golden globe architecture, which makes it the city’s landmark. InterContinental Hangzhou is also adjacent to a station on Metro Line 4&7, providing easy access to West Lake, train stations, airport and shopping districts. We boast magnificent views of the Qiantang River, Light Show and Musical Fountain. We have 384 guest rooms and 6 restaurants plus swimming pool.

Fantastic Stay Filled with Memorable Experiences

Our check-in process was extremely smooth with knowledgeable staff. To our surprise we were upgraded to the gorgeous suite we could only dream of staying at, and intercontinental truly gave us a memorable and comfortable stay. All the services and food were naturally of 5-star standard, and have already recommended this hotel to many of our friends and family. Big shout out to the manager who upgraded us, regrettably I did not get her name but thanks to her I had a great first night for my first time in Shanghai.

Good location and helpful staff

The air conditioner in the room couldn’t be adjusted because it was set to heater mode, and I wasn’t used to staying in that kind of temperature. So the staff kindly brought us a tower fan. Plus, all the front desk staff could speak English, which made communication very convenient.

Enjoy the Sights and Sounds of Causeway Bay’s Exotic Commercial Centre at the Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay.
With a host of corporate headquarters in the nearby Times Square, Lee Garden and Hysan Place, the Causeway Bay MTR station is within walking distance from hotel. Renowned tourist attractions and landmarks are nearby such as the Sogo Departments Store, Hong Kong Stadium, Victoria Park and Happy Valley Racecourse. For families, the distance from hotel to Ocean Park is only 4.9 km and Hong Kong Disneyland is 26.5km.
The distance from Hong Kong International Airport to Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay is 38 km.

Good hotel but can be better for Intercontinental

The hotel is very centrally located and the buildings are exceptional with beautiful gardens. The food is great and the staffs are excellent. The only drawback is the facilities inside need better upgrade. One can see rust at the bathroom and light fixtures. This devalues the high end Intercontinental status. Also, hotel room should not have instant coffee. The amenity made this high end hotel a grade lower than it should be.

Hotel is located atop Qingtang Station on Metro Line 9 with convenient transportation and two stops from the airport. The straight-line distance from Guangzhou North Station is about 6 kilometers, and the straight-line distance from downtown Guangzhou and Pazhou International Exhibition Centre is about 32 kilometers. We provide shuttle bus service to/from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport everyday and provide shuttle bus service to/from Exhibition Center on Canton Fair Exhibition Day.

Wonderful hotel ! I have kept coming back to stay at this hotel, for 9 years now, because of the great service the professional staff provide.
As a foreigner the staff are very understanding of my needs.
At the front desk, Coco Zhong makes every stay an enjoyable experience with her high standard of service.
In the hotel restaurant, Executive Chef Simon Luo has always provided the highest standard of cuisine and service and my wife and I always look forward to dining there again..

Kind and professional staff, exceptional quality of service

I'm quite thrilled and satisfied with the service provided in the hotel. Staff was very helpful with any task and challenge I have encountered. They helped me a couple of times with laundry service and I couldn't be thankful enough.
