Exceptional Service and Comfort Near PVG Airport

I had a great experience at Holiday Inn Express Shanghai PVG Zhuqiao. Helen at the front desk was incredibly helpful—she not only assisted my friend who was stranded at the airport due to a missed flight, but also went out of her way to help me mail out some packages, which I truly appreciated. Her professionalism and kindness made a big difference.
The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long journey. Breakfast offered a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything was fresh and well-prepared.
One of the best features is the free shuttle service to and from Pudong Airport, which was reliable and easy to use. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone transiting through PVG or looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

Crowne Plaza Tainan situated in Anping District with rich natural environment, historical and cultural attractions. Only 20 to 40 minutes drive from Airport, Train Station and High Speed Rail Station. 5 minutes away from Taijiang National Park and Sicao Mangrove Green Tunnel; just walking distance to the famous Anping Old Fort and Anping old street. The distance to Tainan City Government and Tainan City Council is approximately 5 kilometers, which also meets the needs of corporate and business visits. The hotel architecture features a mixture of modern design and local culture. 疫情期間雖減少旅遊但仍感恩之前一些舊有的staff們如Alice、Emma，每次去都是賓至如歸。疫情後，之前的Staff陸續離開。直到2023年初來入住，一件偶發的不幸事件，遇到一位L的staff讓家人有不被歡迎、並難堪的的主觀感受，之後就很少再蒞臨。
這次我自己也不想再來，但兒子要招待朋友。卻再度發生令人感到挫敗的感受。
家人都是IHG也是Marriot 的白金會員，理論上，接洽人員應該有「服務」的基本禮貌。據兒子朋友的轉述，在checkin時，一再用「警告性」、不友善的口吻，警告貴賓室只能兩位⋯⋯⋯，我們都懂。我來了30次，這次也花了三萬近四萬的費用招待客人，我難道不知每天在加個1000多元台幣補個人進去貴賓室嗎？
這樣對大使會員貴賓的態度，我只有跟朋友道歉，還能說什麼？
我在他們退房之後，得知他們必須付另一個早餐錢，由我貴賓付，我電話詢問，第一位告訴我，我的訂單有早餐，她需要再查詢，我不在乎650，也一再交代該花的全掛房號，我兒子再付。
這通電話我打三次過去，都說專員在忙，要我等候回電。一等四天（4/21等到4/25），我再去電，一個不甚客氣的staff回覆說沒有含早餐⋯⋯
唉，真令人惋惜之前對這家旅館的期待。

The Holiday Inn Golden Mile's location is directly on Nathan Road near the subway station Tsim Sha Tsui 5 minutes walk to the sea promenade and Avenue of the Stars. The hotel rooms are getting old (slight mouldy smell in the room due to the high humidity over the years) but are clean and are great value for money! Hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. This hotel is our first choice when staying in Hong Kong.

Very outdated but still a wonderful hotel

I've been staying at this hotel since 2011, and while it's always been a pleasant experience overall, I feel it's time to share a few thoughts — both positive and areas for improvement.
Pros:
The breakfast is outstanding — consistently delicious with a great variety to choose from.
The staff is exceptional — always professional, courteous, and eager to help.
The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access key attractions and transport.
Cons:
While the hotel has a charming feel, some facilities are noticeably outdated and could use an upgrade.
The shower setup feels basic and doesn't match the premium standard expected from a five-star hotel.
The music dock next to the bed still has an iPhone 4 connector — definitely due for a modern replacement.
I requested a non-smoking room, but unfortunately, smoke from other rooms still drifted in. I recommend enforcing a non-smoking policy for the entire floor to prevent this issue.
The TV is very old — I recognized the model from 2008 — and the TV channel selection is limited, especially for international guests. A refresh of the in-room entertainment system would go a long way.
Overall, I really enjoy staying here and appreciate the familiar comfort and service. With a few upgrades, this hotel could easily maintain its five-star standard and provide an even better experience for loyal guests like me.

I got many rash after few days on my bed and pillow. They never change the bed n pillow sheets. Breakfast lousy and bed. Very disappointed.

We had an incredible 10 day stay the Sanya Intercontinental. The hotel staff and service is world class and highly recommended.

Great facilities and view.
Exception service from Michelle at the concierge desk and Ventura the restaurant manager. These incredible hotel staff offered world class service and I hope they promoted in to management to guide other staff in offering an exception hotel stay and experience. It's all the little touches that make a big difference.
