Excellent place for relaxing holiday

I decided to stay this hotel again because of the good memories on the last stay in November last year, and it was right choice.
The time was big holiday season on northeast asia, so that everywhere is so bustling, and we would like to find a calm and serene place for relaxing.
Intercontinental Kaohsiung was excellent choice for this, though I saw a lot of people in lobby and restaurant, but we could relax our own time in the room, also for the rewards program of IHG that we used suite upgrade.
I would like to recommend this hotel because this hotel could keep your privacy and ensure your relaxing days on holiday

Convenient, walking distance to many attraction

The location is in the middle of many attractions.
The staff are very helpful and quick checkin. The staff had gone overnoard to help us dealing with problems with phone, booking trai n tickets, and tours. Everything we needed they were able to provide to make our stay more confortable.

隱私侵犯與房務管理問題之嚴正反映

我想就最近入住高雄洲際酒店的經驗表達強烈的不滿。此次透過高鐵假期預訂了三間雙人房，這是我第二次入住飯店，但整體體驗令人失望。
首先，我們抵達當日直到下午近3:45才完成入住，嚴重影響了行程。這次是提前三週預訂，且入住前兩天也接到貴飯店來電確認時間，仍無法準時入住，顯示房務安排有待加強。若確認電話無法發揮實際效果，其意義何在？
更嚴重的是，其中一間房客於下午約五點外出游泳期間，房務人員竟未經同意擅自進入房內並擺放物品。此舉嚴重侵犯住客隱私，也讓人對財物安全產生疑慮。我們反映後，值班經理竟稱這是「飯店標準流程」，此回應令人震驚且無法接受。
請問：在無緊急情況下，飯店是否允許人員自由進入住客房間？若房客貴重物品遺失，或正在沐浴等私密行為，後果誰負責？
洲際品牌應有更高標準。檢討內部流程，加強員工教育，重視顧客隱私。

First time in Taiwan

I never usually leave reviews, but for this stay, I felt I had no choice.
The staff were amazing from the moment I arrived, super friendly and helpful, from the front-of-house team to the bar staff and everyone in between.
The rooms were excellent: very clean with more than enough space.
Breakfast offered plenty of variety, so I never had to have the same thing twice.
The pool and gym facilities are some of the best I’ve seen at a Voco.
Extremely happy with the hotel, I’ll definitely be back.

VOCOホテルは七件目のホテルでした。
フロントがたいへん親切で感動しました。
日本語は決して流暢とは言えませんが翻訳機などを使ってとにかく一生懸命になってもてなしてくれるのがわかりました。
チェックアウトの時翻訳機で「今までで一番親切にしていただいたホテルでした。黒服の方にもお礼を言っておいてください」とフロントの女性に言いました。
次は今回行けなかった阿里山鉄道を計画していますが絶対このホテルを利用します。

The hotel is close to metro line 7&13 Station, allowing guests easy travel throughout Shanghai.
The hotel boasts 319 comfortable and elegant guest rooms and offers dining restaurants. The Café provides Asian and International cuisines. You can take a dip in our indoor swimming pool, or hit the gym with state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
For those with business and events needs, Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu boasts 1100sqm of flexible events space. There are 6 meeting rooms, including a 560sqm, 6.4m in height pillar free ballroom.

Uncomfortable room & poor service

Room was not pleasing, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the lights control were not usual friendly, the light outside the shower room can't be left on during the night, the stay in the room was bad, can't sleep well in the night during the stay. The staff service was not helpful. Requested for help but the staff was reluctant to help...Overall room and service standard were poor for a 4 stars Crowne Plaza hotel in Shanghai.. Disappointing..
