Located in the centre of the Hangzhou’s business district, Qianjiang New Town, InterContinental Hangzhou is uniquely designed with a golden globe architecture, which makes it the city’s landmark. InterContinental Hangzhou is also adjacent to a station on Metro Line 4&7, providing easy access to West Lake, train stations, airport and shopping districts. We boast magnificent views of the Qiantang River, Light Show and Musical Fountain. We have 384 guest rooms and 6 restaurants plus swimming pool.

staff dishonest

was put on the top floor for a night of heavy rain. Roof leaked, camera lens was soaked. Told hotel staff about this and they said their roof was not leaking. The roof clearly showed painting to cover past leaks, so they knew the roof leaked, but they didn't disclose that, and put guest on the top floor on a rainy night. Bill from Engineer department, Lily from room management department, and Robin from front desk were all denying their roof leaked. Can't believe this happened in what was supposed to be the most expensive hotel in Hangzhou. Will never stay there again.

Crowne Plaza Yangzhou is located on beautiful Guangling district, adjacent to Jing Hang Convention Center and Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal. The hotel is along the Beijing-Shanghai express railway, so the transportation is convenient and efficient. You can keep away from noisy city and enjoy local Yangzhou lifestyle.
The hotel boasts 308 luxurious and contemporarily designed guest rooms. You can have a clear view of magnificent canal in admirable Crown Plaza Special View Room. Parent-child room is very popular with family guests. All guest rooms are equipped with LCD TV, satellite channel and High-speed Internet broadband access. Also, Wi-Fi covers the whole hotel. Executive Lounge which located on 13th floor offers free happy hour and a series of privileges for guests. What’s more? The indoor swimming pool, gym and spa make you relaxed and recharged.
The hotel features 3 restaurants, Marina All Day Dining Restaurant serving various delicacies around the world, Qing Yun Xuan Chinese Restaurant building local Huaiyang cuisine, and Canal Lounge offering a taste of exciting afternoon tea and dessert.
As meeting hotel, the 1,050 square meter pillar-free Grand Ballroom with a ceiling height of 8.5 meters can seat up 700 guests in banquet style. There are 10 other function rooms and all meeting rooms are well equipped with the state-of-art audio-visual equipment.

Huge family room but thin walls

I booked a family room which was spacious and well-sized, a definite plus for our stay. However, the soundproofing was extremely poor — even after midnight, I could clearly hear conversations and laughter from the neighboring room, making it nearly impossible to fall asleep. When I reported this issue to the front desk, they promptly provided earplugs, but unfortunately the noise still seeped through. On a positive note, the hotel staff were highly efficient and responsive throughout our stay. As for breakfast, the variety was decent though not exceptional. Overall, this hotel has potential but urgently needs to address its sound insulation issues.

We only stayed for three nights but it was a wonderful experience. Our suite was the essence of luxury. The facility ifeels like you’re not even in a city, but you have access to everything Shanghai has to offer. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast buffet is a must.
Highly recommend staying here. One of the best properties IHG has to offer in the world.

Hotel is the ideal place to stay in Shanghai that conveniently located at Jinshajiang Road, which connects with gate of Qilianshan (S) Road Metro Station L13, only 1-minute walking distance to Metro Platform. Sufficient parking lot is the great concept for P+R or you may ride by Metro to any hot spots in the city.
Metro L13 is able to reach MTR City Mall, ECNU Science Park, Western Suburb Business District and Global Harbor Shopping Mall. It could also bring you to Natural History Museum, Nanjing ((W) Road, Huaihai (M) Road, Xintiandi, and Disneyland etc...
Hotel is operating central air conditioning, it is not meeting requirement for health quarantine for visitors form overseas and middle and high risk area from across the country.
Hotel is only 6.3km away from Hongqiao Transportation Hub, free shuttle buses will bring you to Hongqiao Airport Economic Park, Changfeng Ecology Business District & Shanghai Western Suburb Business District on weekday basis. It's also very convenient for you to reach CECIS-Shanghai & NECC by exchange Metro L2. Weekend shuttle will bring you to Metro L2 & Ocean Park
Hotel is conjoined with Jinsha Mat Mall which has Starbucks, McDonald’s, Super Market, Variety of Restaurants, Karaoke and Gele Tang SPA which will fulfill all of your F & B and entertainment requirements. Hotel is equipped with Gym, Great Room and Meeting Room. Free Express Breakfast Buffet will make you a great start of every day.
