I had a very pleasant stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast service was very good. The spa facility was excellent and they have a good fitness centre as well

Good holiday hotel to business and leisure, people is very kind you help to everything, restaurant and food very quality. I was seeing some comments about others travellers from Europe ( I am western Europe) saying hotel is old room, but, I am travelling so much in India, Chennai 3/4 year and believe me, European people, USA people can go with total confidence there

Crown Plaza Chennai India

I am on an extended business trip in Chennai india. My home is the Crown Plaza Hotel. The hotel has everything I need; 4 restaurants, lounges, Meeting Rooms, Office services, Fitness Center, swimming pool, full service Spa, and 24/7 Security.
The staff is exceptional. Included have posted some pictures of a few of the staff that have made me fill like family and at home. The Cuppacino has a great buffet breakfast. The hostesses Christina and Sulogna greet me every morning with a smile.

The waiter Kumar has given me an education on the various types of bananas in this region.

The Chief Mr Kalidos, knowing I am adjusting to the Spicy india foods has grilled me a fish with steamed vegetables.

The concierge has been a great helping in arranging the hotel taxi to the airport and where ever else I need to go. I have never been delayed.

The fitness center is staffed by trainers and are there to help if requested.

Venkatesh the room floor manager has taken great care of my room and polishes my shoes!
He always says good morning with a smile. Great way to start my day!

I have been living at this hotel for more than 18 months and I have to say that I fell at home. The staff is so gentle and efficient that I feel surounded by friends.
I want specially have a mention for Miss Ranjhani at the front desk and the 3 stewards at the front door, Rao, Santosh and Kumar.
They are really Fantastic.!!! Thank you to all of you to have made my stay almost a vacation.

Lacks IHG STATURE

Staying with IHG Brand for more than 6 years, it has been first time the I have faced disappointment. Though bring a wonderful property it couldn't withstand in services as it should have been. A lot of improvement needed. Communication among staff lacks.
