Great hotel and convenient location

We had a great stay the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and modern. If you are in the Louisville area, especially if you are going to the expo center I would highly recommend staying here at the Crown Plaza

Excellent Property

This is a great property with a super friendly staff. Easy to drive to and if you’re flying, it’s perfectly located at/by the airport. They also offer a shuttle to the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are clean with comfortable beds. The restaurant and bar is also excellent!

This is the 4th time I stay in this hotel.
Never Ever have been charged for parking, but this time I was.
Since was book through a third party didnt receive any awards
Staff members are very polite and helpful.
Housekeeping are perfect!

Horrible experience

I do not normally right reviews. But this is one I will wright. It started when I got here after a 4hr drive and working all day. We booked this hotel due to convenience to the convention center. I had tried to check in and they had over booked and said I did not have have a reservation. When I clearly had it in my app. After an hr of being on phone with the IHG people. I had Finley able to get a room. The next morning I had gone to take a shower and the water was ice cold in the whole hotel. I was told I would be contacted and I have yet to be contacted by anyone to date. I will never stay here again.

Nice hotel but no amenities.

We travelled 13 hours expecting a pool for the kids. We expected a restaurant and a bar. The pool was closed. Bar had no booze and the restaurant was very limited. The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. The rooms at the back of the hotel are disrupted by the train.

Horrible service nightmare property

I checked into the hotel with my service animal my service animals on my profile I’ve stated over 500 of these properties with her and never had any issues. She popped her little head out of the bag every time I was there for a business trip and I walked my dog out in the morning and someone accuse me of having a pet when she’s clearly a service animal. She has all her papers and documents on their profile says they allow service animals. I told her I could show her my letter she went ahead and called the cops and had me escorted off the property. The cops didn’t even know why they were there and never seen anything like it. I showed them the letter. They say clearly this is a service animal. We don’t know what is going on. Meanwhile, I’m on the phone with an IHG representative that did nothing on my behalf. I’ve never seen such horrible service from a facility and or Ihg I will be changing.

Dirty Room

Hotel appearance in lobby is poor as soon as you walk in. I was checked into room 305. There was a dirty wash rag hanging on the shower curtain rod and long dark hairs on the outside of the bath tub. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to go downstairs to get toilet paper and they said their shipment didn't come in and they were sending someone to Wal Mart to get more. Will not stay at this property again.

Disappointed

We got there and the staff wasn’t very helpful. We dropped off our bags, went to dinner then back to the room to get some sleep before a morning flight out. By the time we got back to the room we noticed the bathroom tub was dirty and the sink had previous tenants toothpaste and hair in it. Disgusting. At this point we were just trying to get some sleep, but it was a disappointment to say the least.
