The carpet in our room was stained in several places. There was an odd intermittent squeaking noice that we couldn’t exactly locate nor cause to stop which made going to sleep difficult.

AVOID THE SCAM BREAKFAST

Breakfast is 40$ PER PERSON with the same quality as a free Breakfast at any similar or even some cheaper hotels. I went to the Breakfast area for a coffee only and got rammed with a 100$ bill. Absolutely no signage or indication Breakfast wasn't included. Total scam. Hotel bar was excellent. Pool hours are a joke closing at like 7pm

Welcome to the only IHG Hotel in Murrieta Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Murrieta-Temecula We are conveniently located in the heart of Murrieta situated between Murrieta Hot Springs Road, I-15 and the I-215 freeways and 45 miles away from the Ontario International Airport. Our hotel is located in the Murrieta Commons Area with access to retail and dining within walking distance. We are neighbors to the Murrieta Mesa High School and have over 70 restaurants around our hotel.

Nice Hotel, but they CHARGE FOR PARKING

The hotel was nice and what should be expected from a Holiday Inn Express.
Only reason I did not rate higher was the charge for parking.
Because it was a Holiday Inn Express off the freeway and not in a downtown location, I did not check to see if parking was free.
I was shocked when I pulled in the lot to see you had to pay. To me (because of the location) this felt very unnecessary and soured my experience at the hotel.
Others in the lobby agreed with me.

Dogs Barking

After arriving after working all day the lobby doors were locked. Waited and waited for the person at the Front desk to stop playing on their phone to open the door. No waters at check in and only a vending machine. Had to go all the way back out to get a bottle of water that’s always been provided at check in at Diamond Elite level. Room was clean but bed was very uncomfortable and unfortunately I had a barking dog in the room beside me. Zero sleep!!!!

Great location, but costumer service needs improvement.

The location and facility are in the optimal spot. However, their customer service declines, especially the staff on their front desk. This is particularly concerning because their front desk staff sets the tone for the entire stay.

Just kinda okay.

Rooms are definitely overpriced based on the lack of amenities offered. Room was very small. No long mirror in room. Breakfast ended at 8:30am on Friday, which is a ridiculously early time. Valet seemed confused. Overpriced valet ($40/day). However, room, bedding, & towels were clean. Comfortable bed. Nice staff.

Comfortable bed, great price but……

We were in town for a funeral so to lift our spirits we went out and hit all our favorite food spots. Who could’ve guessed that our refrigerator wasn’t working and we would have to wait until the next day for a replacement. Sadly all our leftover seafood had to be thrown out because of this. The next morning I went down to breakfast to get coffee and I asked for a stirrer and the employee told me to just use a plastic knife. Also my bathroom door had a large hole in it as if someone kicked it in. I don’t understand why they would rent a room out without repairing the hole. Smh

Great service but hotel needs updating

I chose this hotel solely for the convenience of the location even though I had read the reviews that it needed updating, which apparently are in the works. As a Diamond Elite member, I was upgraded to a suite but it was not a renovated room, so the furniture was very old/used and the carpet extremely worn and in need of replacement. I was only staying one night, so I didn’t mind that much as long the bed had clean sheets and fluffy pillows and I could get a good night’s rest. For my breakfast, I chose to order off the menu which was actually really good. Overall, decent value for a quick stay.
