Requested full refund;
1. Room not ready until 3:45, 45-minutes after check in time.
2. Only towels/tags for two guests.
3. No bedding for sofa pullout.
4. No AC.
5. Intermittent water pressure
6. Attempt to call front desk or room service during stay, either no answer or unable to assist.
7. Went down when no answer, redirect to call or come back later.
8. Attempted refund request via chat at 9:00 no luck and call , on hold 15 minutes no return to phone.
9. Negative Google reviews became our exact experience.
10. Valet greeting.. if you are just checking in may want to hold onto your keys until you find out if and when your room would be ready.

Noisy, uncomfortable

We arrived Saturday evening, and it was party central. We heard clubs , yelling and fighting, and cars racing all night long. On top of all the noise disturbance the beds were terrible. The cleanliness of the room was minimum. We were given 2 towels (4guests), there was no trash bags for the trash cans, and the fridge hardly worked. We had to pay $50.00 for parking for 2 nights.
The breakfast coupons for booking early were only for 2 guests (again there was 4 guests) and breakfast was expensive and wasn’t all that great .

Took away hot tub and never fixed room issues

Last year I stayed in room 109. The ceiling in the bathroom was cracked, patched and losing pieces while the wall paper at most of the seams were peeling. I complained and let them know that was a room that needed fixed. This year, I ended up in the SAME room with NONE of the issues repaired AND in the meantime, they took away the microwave that was in the room AND they closed down the hot tub permanently. The workout room was hot and muggy because of the pool area and they had no fans available in there.
The only good thing was the check in guy was super nice and super apologetic and got us a microwave to use (we had brought tv dinners in our cooler for dinner). Also the breakfast bar had lots of choices and was good.

Did not sleep all night due to loud refrigerator.

We got in in the middle of the night the refrigerator started making a loud squealing noise. It was too late to contact the desk and change rooms. Then hotel declined my satisfaction guaranteed and offered nothing for the inconvenience. If you are in the area I highly recommend the Candlewood Suites Lake Buenavista. It was the complete opposite experience with wonderful customer service and an new suite that was clean and well appointed. This is a tourist hotel and really doesn't care if you are satisfied because they don't care you are ever coming back. In this case I will definitely not be returning.
I travel for work and stay at many IHG hotels and this is definitely one to avoid.

Comfortable bed and great service

This hotel is being remodeled but right now it is a mess and even the remolded rooms are half complete. On top of that the exercise room is pathetic and issues related to it are not addressed by the hotel management. I stay there for business because it is convenient. Otherwise I would stay somewhere else.

Worst holiday inn I’ve stayed at

Really disappointing stay, when checking in receptionist left halfway through and then proceeded to pretty much the keys at me with no confirmation of what room and where to go.door handle bust and window broken, I had a 3 night stay and didn’t have the room cleaned once when I asked about this I was told the manager would speak to me but no contact made, I also wanted to make sure that my points were added to my IHG but when I asked this question the points were being assigned to a different account which I found strange as I had given my number to the not so helpful receptionist overall very poor and will not be staying again!! No upgrade offered

Clean I guess …

Hotel room was clean but everything else was mid. The hotel itself had a weird stench the whole time I was there. There were roaches, things were broken, the wear on things in the room were old and never fixed. The pool was absolutely freezing, we couldn’t even use it so I didn’t feel like I got my moneys worth. Their breakfast was bland and generic, I say this because I’ve had much better.

Bad Location

This was a horrible experience! Bad all around! Food choices were cold and non-existent. Rooms were dirty. Staff was whining about being behind and a check coming up. Just a terrible experience. I am a frequent HIE user and this was a bad Location.
