Overall, great stay. Room was exceptionally clean, as was bathroom. Very easy to sleep as room was quiet, even hallway noise.

Needs to train staff

When I checked in every time I asked a question the Woman working the desk had to go to the back and ask someone for an answer.
My final bill, which I did not receive upon check out, apparently charged me $28.54. When I called to inquire about the charge as the bill is not available on the IHG site the Woman that answered the phone informed me she cannot find anything out and it will have to wait for the manager to come in the next day.

Rooms were small, but hotel was nice.

Hotel would have been great if I was traveling with my wife, or my wife and I with the older kids. The small room size and no bath tub made it very difficult to stay with my small children. My other complaint was with the beds. I was assured by the hotel staff that they were queen beds, but they were small more like full size beds. Again made sleeping difficult with my 18 month old and my wife in the same bed. Overall though this hotel is really nice, and was kept very clean. Like I said, would have been great for non family stays. Pool are was nice and kept clean. Overall enjoyed my stay except for everything about the room being small.

Great hotele

Was a very great hotel, overall very nice. It was really quiet, no problems with that. Breakfast was okay, could do better sandwich choices. Highly recommend this hotel.

Colorful but disappointed

Overall clean and bright property. However, rooms are tiny and the fridge did not work. Also there was a full 1 inch gap under the door, so you can see light, shadows and hear everybody. You don’t hear noise from rooms next door though

Hope it's the last one.

This hotel has a big sign in the lobby stating it's the first Avid hotel in the world. For all of our sakes lets hope it's the last one.
Booked a room for two with points @ 15000 per night. I booked a king but on arrival was informed there were no more Kings and was put in a double queen.
The next day was moved to a king but for some reason was charged an extra $75. I called the front desk as the charge only popped up after I checked out and was informed that it was probably because I moved into the type of room I had initially booked in. The front desk clerk assured me the manager was good with these sort of problems and would contact me that day and let me know it was taken care of. Of course that didn't happen either.
On a side note the hdmi ports are disabled on all of their televisions so bring a game console or anything you might want to hook up is a no go.
All in all a waste of points and a source of uneeded frustratiin. There's a staybridge across the street that has rooms for a comparable rate. Stay there if you can.

Unpleasant Experience

The rooms are great and very clean, however I reserved our room directly through IHG website and requested 2 queen beds. When we got there and checked in, we went to the room to find they put us in a king... for 4 people. The young lady at the front desk switch us to a double queen room after much discussion. Then as we walked out of our room to go to dinner, another family was walking to our room. At this point, the other family and I am beyond angry. They were put into another room, but I worried the entire evening about whether or not I would have someone else in our room by the time we got back! So our little night away from home was turned into a dreadful staycations. I email management and never heard a word over the incident.

perfect weekend

our stay for a weekend was nothing less than perfect. i legit have no complaints! it was a very clean hotel and the decor made me feel so comfortable for a very reasonable price. the room was a 1 king bed, and the bed was probably my 2nd favorite part. first would be the bean to cup coffee offered 24 hours. the coffee was delicious every single time, and the station was always clean!!
