I was told the pool was open till 11 pm on check in and then when we went to use was told it was closed?
No Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It is one of the reasons I choose IHG over others.

No sirvió Aire Acondicionado

Legamos ya 12 AM aprox solo a “descansar” hacía mucho calor, prendimos el aire acondicionado, pasó 1 hora aprox y nunca funcionó, vino una persona que era el guardia de seguridad, le movió a todo y nunca funciono. Me movieron de habitación por primera vez. Mismo procedimiento en la segunda habitación de la noche, ya eran las 2:15 am. Llegó el guardia intentó hacer funcionar el aire y mismo resultado. Segundo cambio de habitación 3ra habitación. 3:15 am aprox. Paso una hora y nada …. 4 am Pasó lo mismo. Ya molesto pido mi cambio de nuevo. 4:15 am se prende la unidad de la CUARTA habitación…. Y por fin casi 5 am. Pude consiliar el sueño. Trate de pedir mi reembolso a la salida del hotel… no me pudieron resolver nada. Que lo tenía que hacer por medio de la habitación. Soy cliente y mi esposa también. Nos hemos alojado en más de 50 ocasiones y nunca tuve un problema igual. Quisiera me pudieran dar alguna compensación coherente debido al paso por 4 habitaciones esa madrugada…. Todo está registrado en el sistema si gustan revisarlo.

Me alojo regularmente en este Hotel desde hace mas de 3 años. Hoy tuve una experiencia desagradable que afecto mi persona y la de mi bebe de 3 años.
Ya que en las 2 noches que tuvimos No pudimos dormir de la mejor forma por comezón y molestias de picazón.
Ignorando esto la primer Noche, la segunda fue fatal, ya que amanecimos con Ronchas y piquetes por todo el cuerpo de Chinches, teniendo evidencia de esto, acudiendo al Doctor Nos confirma esto y nos da el medicamento para ello.
Esperando del Hotel Un mejor manejo o una mejor respuesta, solo dijeron que actuarían conforme a protocolo, mandarían a fumigar y listo.
Esto ocasiono que nos fuéramos a otro Hotel, Ya que no pudimos disfrutar nuestra estancia en este.

Great hotel

I really love this hotel and whenever I visit Jeddah I always make sure to stay in this hotel , and I love the location and the vibe and everything about it, but my only complaint is they never consider the status of the IHG membership for an upgrade compared to any IHG hotel I stay in , I am a Diamond Elite and Intercontinental Ambassador and still don’t get any upgrades, and this time I even got smaller room.

Be nicer once construction is done

But no restaurant in house
Pool was cold should be higher was like 72 not 77 or 78 and cloudy
Work our room closed
All things we use would have made the stay a lot nicer if exercise room was open and pool was warmer
Could for go the restaurant being closed and the construction
Everything else was great the staff front desk and the room was so comfortable and clean
Bring a scrubby for showers they only have liquid Dove shampoo soap location locked in big bottles
You can use a face clothe but a bit rough
We would go back again and will soon
Thank you front desk lady was always smiling very friendly
Close to everything white oaks mall dinning
If not winter would not mine restaurant being closed
Microwave in the room would be nice

Not a pleasant stay

We booked a double room and received one with two singles. The beds were not comfortable and the room was cold despite the thermometer on the heating control reading 21C, amending it upwards didn't work as it reverted back to "21C". We arrived late and had to leave early so didn't have time to sort our problems out with staff - our bad.
We have stayed here previously and enjoyed our stays but not this time.
Breakfast was good and the location is excellent. Tip to travellers, make time to get problems sorted out.

Staff needs better training

Was terribly disappointed by my stay at Holiday Inn Bintan, mainly because of these reasons:
1. THE HOTEL LOST OUR LUGGAGES. This is the main reason for my one star review. On our check out day, we deposited our luggages with the hotel reception and informed them that we will be taking the shuttle bus at 3:30pm. They confirmed with us and took our luggages. When we returned the hotel could not find our luggages and were panicking. Thankfully one of my friends used her “find my ipod” function and realised our luggages are already at the ferry terminal. We took the shuttle bus there and realised our luggages were left near the entrance of the terminal, UNGUARDED. This is honestly unacceptable, someone could have taken it?!? Also, since the luggages were transported from Holiday Inn to the terminal, why didn’t the staff communicate with each other and inform them? They clearly belonged to hotel guests. This is honestly VERY IRRESPONSIBLE, were the staff not trained?!?
2. On the day of check-in, the lobby reception promised a 2pm late check-out, and said we could ask for further extension on our check-out date. So on our last day, we went to check with the reception but they told us we had to check out at 12pm because someone booked our room. We were NOT informed about this beforehand because they had initially given us the 2pm check-out on our first day. What if we were out of the hotel and couldn’t return in time? In the end, the staff did call us and told us we could do a 2pm check-out, but all of these could have been handled better.
3. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for 5 pax. On the day itself our friend couldn’t make it so we informed the front desk and asked if its possible for a refund, they said no but its understandable. But what we didn’t understand when we entered the room was even tho we paid for 5 people, the amenities provided (towels, beds, toothbrush etc.) were clearly only catered for 4 people. So what exactly did we pay for?!?
4. During our stay, we requested for water a few times and they always either didn’t come or came after like 2 hours…understand its a busy weekend (due to PH) but the service was honestly super slow.
Overall, I would not recommend to stay at Holiday Inn Bintan. The rooms itself were okay, but the staff clearly needed a lot more training.

Very poor guest experience

They didn't even try! The hotel was undergoing renovations. I was not fully aware of this when I made the reservation. The put me on a floor that had no directional markings in the hallway after getting off of elevator. The floor was completely stripped of carpet and there were nails on the floor. I could have been hurt. The only light in the hallway was suspended light bulb hanging from a wire that was strung the length of the hallway. I had no idea which way to go. I had to go back downstairs and get assistance from housekeeping staff because there was no one at the front desk. I would have requested another floor! I brought this experience to the attention of the front desk and the front end manager and she literally dismissed the fact that i was disappointed because she failed to mention the condition of accommodations to me. I asked to speak to the GM and was told he was not available. I left him messages. I emailed him. No response. I called him for several days after my stay and was always told he wasn't available or in meetings somewhere. I think I'm more disappointed in him because a phone call or return of my email request may have gone a long way. The just didn't care! I have been staying at IHG for many years and occasionally you run up on a bad experience. This was horrible and I could have been injured. As I must come to the local military base nearby occasionally, and I use IHG, this Holiday Inn Express is the only one in that area, unfortunately.
I'm platinum elite, but no one should have to deal with this level of bad service.
