We don't had good vibes at the hotel as we walked in. Video shows check-in person great you with a smile. Not true, none of them even had a fake smile on their face. Feeling like they are forced to work. Only the staff at the door was smiling and greeting you.
No welcome as a Diamond member, nor recognition of Amabassador member at the check-in. No explaination of your benefits, place of breakfast etc, extended checkout, food credit,...etc. The only thing important in their eyes is money. They agent told 3rd breakfast will be charged. I dodn't go to breakfast.
Surprisibgly enough, my wife told redtaurant was offering 2 extra items from La Carte being Diamond member, who eat this much. It would be worthwhile to offer extra breakfast, so we would do breakfast together.
I was welcomed on a text message on the phone that was turned off to avoid roaming. Hotel should welcome on Whatsapp instead.
The hotel interested in charging 60 pounds for an extra bed fees for 3rd person. The room wasn't even upgraded to one level up as per Ambassadorandguaranteed room uograde. The roller bed of very cheap quality was showed in a small room and we were hitting our feet all the time with the extended part of the bed all 2-days. Not sure, even it was permitted per fire code.
Trying for last 4-days to get the copy of the folio to validate the charges but no luck. Ana, Aneena, Natividad and Seever all knows about it through chat. Ask them how hard is to get the cipy of the folio that I didn't receive in the first place and they promised I will get it in reasonable time. Is one montha reasonable time? You can reviewed attached text communication to understand the level of ignorance.
On the other hand we had a remarkable stay at Intercontinental LeGrand Paris. Amazing staff, amazing environment. Friendly people, even extended 3rd breakfast complimentary for my daughter and upograded to a bigger room with extended checkout. Learn from the. Send your Team members there for cross functional training.
Only houskeeping and In-house dining (Bala) gave a good service.
Not impressed. Though hotel was full, I think that's what's matter for the management,
