This hotel is HORRIBLE, my room had a razor in the shower aa if it was left there by a previous guest. No face towels were available in the room now at front desk! I checked out early due to the room not being clean and IHG refused me of a refund although they guarantee cleanliness and this hotel is far from it! Not worth your money or your points! Be careful

I received a Platinum upgrade and given a room in which the AC did not function. When I tried to use the phone to report it, the phone lacked a cable from it to the wall jack.
By the time I was situated into a different room, one hour had passed from my arrival.
The next day when I turned the water on the kitchen sink of the new room, the handle fell into the garbage disposal. The handle was in the hot position, so I had to fish the handle out of the disposal with hot water running on my hand.
This facility is so far below any Staybridge in which I have stayed, they shouldn't be permitted to use the name.

We chose to stay in TEXAS city because it was more affordable than staying in Galveston on the ocean before our cruise. This hotel is very outdated. The carpets were dirty in our room, and the bathroom was very outdated. Not sure what was in our room or bed, but my husband was a bit all over his body. We will definitely stay in Galveston next time, Closer to the port and pay a little bit more for a nicer hotel. The front staff was excellent! They were very helpful.

Situated in the heart of this vibrant city at the gateway to the southwest, this modern hotel is minutes from Cabot Circus and Bristol Hippodrome. We are just off the M32 motorway and the onsite NCP car park means getting here is effortless. Enter our glass fronted lounge, where you will find quiet corners to meet for coffee and check email with wireless internet. There's space for up to 190 delegates to gather in the seven academy rooms. Your spacious guest room is an inviting environment for work with a media hub, work desk and air conditioning. Try your hand at hundreds of activities at the nearby Bristol Science Centre or explore historic Bristol, all minutes from our hotel. You can pack a picnic and enjoy the fresh air at Ashton Court Estate, venture over Bath or embrace the sea air at Weston Super Mare. Unacceptable Breach of Security and Poor Staff Conduct

During our stay at Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre on 3 May 2025, an extremely distressing and unacceptable incident occurred. At approximately 17:45 -just two hours after our check-in - another male guest was mistakenly given access to our room (Room 707). At the time, we were resting and not fully clothed when this complete stranger entered without warning. He informed us that the hotel had checked him into our room. Right at that moment, our room key cards stopped working, and we were locked out of our own room.
Upon raising the issue with the hotel reception, staff admitted to a booking error. A more senior staff member placed full blame on a trainee and offered us a drink voucher, which we did not request and never used. This gesture, lacking sincerity, was handed over dismissively - using two fingers - as if we had asked for charity, not redress for a major security lapse.
To make matters worse, the new room key we were given also failed. We were forced to return to reception multiple times and have staff accompany us back to the room to verify the issue. This repeated inconvenience caused significant discomfort and a strong sense of insecurity. We were deeply unsettled, constantly worried that another stranger might enter our room unannounced, especially while we were asleep or away.
At checkout, two staff members again failed to provide a genuine apology. Instead, they shifted responsibility to the trainee and engaged in lengthy, unproductive conversations. They offered 500 IHG® Rewards points as compensation, which felt like an insincere attempt to pacify us without addressing the seriousness of the incident.
Overall, we felt discriminated against and treated as inferior customers, likely due to our young age. The lack of accountability, dismissive attitude, and violation of our personal space and safety reflect poorly on the Holiday Inn brand. We are extremely disappointed and expect formal acknowledgment of this incident and an appropriate response.

The Holiday Inn Express Evansville-West is conveniently located to offer easy access local businesses and attractions in southern Indiana. We are Evansville's closest hotel to Mt. Vernon, IN an industrial hub and port on the Ohio River. The Evansville Regional Airport is approximately twenty-five minutes away. Business travelers benefit from our proximity to many nearby businesses such as SABIC, BWXT, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, CountryMark, ADM, Green Plains, GAF, Centerpoint Energy, and The Port of Indiana -all of which are just a short drive away. Parents and fans will appreciate that this Evansville hotel is within 1.5 miles of the University of Southern Indiana and within 5 miles of the University of Evansville, the Ford Center arena, the Victory Theatre, and Old National Events Plaza. Be sure to ask about our university discounts. Leisure travelers will have no problem finding something to do for the whole family while visiting us. Evansville offers many activities and attractions, such as the Ohio riverfront, Mesker Park Zoo, and multiple museums -including the LST-325 and Evansville Wartime Museum. There are also many restaurant options, a movie theater, and shopping centers nearby. We do not allow pets; however, trained/certified service animals (canines) are always welcomed. Holiday Inn Express Evansville-West is a smoke-free facility.

This was a very poor Holiday Inn Express experience. This staff was willing to hear my complaints but there was nothing done about it throughout the stay. My door was left propped open after one of the daily "cleanings" and the points offered were never added to my account. The room was also never cleaned. The beds were only rearranged twice throughout my visit and never fully made after my arrival. When the room was serviced, I received a few new towels and my trash had a chance of being taken. The trash was missed many times and multiple towels were missing that I had to go request. The floor of the room got consistently dirtier and I was told my sheets were changed which was a lie as the bed was never rearranged enough to have been changed. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel. Stay at the ones in the center or eastern part of town, the farther drive is worth it. The image below is the only day of my 12 day stay that the bed was "made." The sheet was not moved from the previous night, the duvet was just thrown over them and pillows replaced. I was told this was changed sheets which was a lie.
