Great property, an even better location. Great front desk staff and cleaners. Unfortunately, bar staff upstairs and down in the PUB need some additional training. The food was awful.

During our stay at the hotel the power was out for hours. We wanted to use the hotels amenities such as the hot tub and arcade and take a hot shower but wasn't able to due to no power. We then left the hotel and waited until the power turned on. We asked a hotel employee to call us when it was back on but never got a call. We picked this hotel for the amenities and we're unable to use them

Clean and comfortable bed, but air conditioner didn’t cool as good as it should. After inquiring about the AC not cooling as it should, they gave us another room but AC was no better.
The other complaint is with the food at the main restaurant. I ordered a steak well done but it came medium rare and had a lot of fat. Mashed potatoes were cold and my husbands French fries weren’t done all the way.
Our whole experience at the restaurant was terrible.
Very OVERPRICED for the food!!! Also the breakfast was terrible!! Pancakes were cold and firm, couldn’t even cut them with a fork.
Bacon was even cold. There were no biscuits!!
The fruit was ok. All in all the food at both restaurants was a disappointment!!!!

The staff was really awesome, and understanding. The rooms were pretty good the pool was great. Overall the family really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit the grand canyon again.

Beautiful resort but A/C mediocre

The resort itself was beautiful. The first night I set the AC to be cool (69 degrees) and it never got cool. I tried turning up the fan speed and nothing. It was late and didn’t want to change rooms and dealt with it for the night. Next morning I call downstairs and they immediately send up a very nice technician. He apologized and said the device on the wall stopped communicating with the system and “fixed it”. He also said he would change the filter which he indicated was dirty.
That evening, arrive in the room and it was maybe mid 70’s. The technician had set the AC down to 65 that morning so you would think it should have felt icy cold. So I called downstairs again. They sent up a different technician who said that all the rooms are like that. And “if I switched rooms it would be no different”. He said the fan speeds don’t do much (very low) and the sun beats on the glass all day and it doesn’t get any cooler. It was tolerable - guessing 75 degrees. But not extremely cool and comfortable like I like.

Problems with water from overflow above

Had an ADA shower accessible room the people above overflowed a tub. I notified the front desk. I was moved in the middle of the night. The shower in that room had a tub with extremely high sides so I was given another ADA shower room so moved again. This room shower flowed into the rest of the bathroom where the sink is with no shower curtain. I had to clean up water each day. The hotel gave us the ADA fee refund and 50% for one night. This was extremely stingy for all the inconvenience as a guest in what is supposed to be a very nice hotel. And my being awake at 1 am to report the water saved the hotel ceiling no doubt. The manager only offered the second ADA room after we persisted and then there was one available. I think this was very poor handling of this situation.
The carpet in the rooms is very dirty.
The food in the hotel restaurant if very expensive.
Overall, very disappointing.
The staff is friendly but when a problem arose, they were not good. Some helped move etc. but handling the reimbursement as a favor to us was not right.

Nice but rooms could be cleaner

The shower curtain was moldy and the carpet was dirty. Dirt stuck to our socks. Staff must not vacuum between customers.
Daily service is no longer done and so we have to ask for clean towels and coffee. Sometimes this was possible and other times not.
For example, requested towels and wash cloths but were given just 2 bath towels. We waited 20 minutes for these and it was our check out day.

Enjoyed the stay here. Staff is very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast option at this location restaurant can be skipped since too pricey for the breakfast. They have free coffee and breakfast which was great
