Welcome to The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in downtown Frankenmuth, Michigan.
We are located on Main Street directly across the street from the River Place Shops. It is always “open season” on shopping, dining, exploring and then unwinding at our Holiday Inn Express & Suites. We have the room you want! All Guest Rooms have a microwave & refrigerator. Our Suites include a wet bar & extra seating and entertaining space. Our beautiful standard rooms feature two queen beds or king size bed. Our Suites include options of a king bed, two queen beds, pull out sofas, a fireplace and enough space for everyone. We offer an indoor swimming pool & fitness center. Take advantage of our free high speed internet access to stay caught up at home & work in your Guest Room or our business center. Our complimentary hot & cold breakfast offers choices from Express Start Cinnamon Rolls to Turkey Sausage Patties.
The River Place Shops, Zehnders Restaurant, the Bavarian Inn Restaurant; if it’s on Main Street, it’s close to our front door! Frankenmuth is home to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest! Where else can you stay in 1st class accommodations, hear & see a Glockenspiel, stroll across the largest wooden bridge built in the last century? Where else can you enjoy great food, a number of music, art and folk festivals plus unlimited shopping? Check in and check us out! Still not tired? The Birch Run Outlet Mall is only 7 miles away in Birch Run, Michigan.

Dirty Bathroom

The shower had pink mold around the drain. The bathroom walls were not clean. Very disappointed for the price.

Did not like the service the dry checkin no info no smiles nothing. I'm big on customer service and by the front desk I knew the value of the hotels was not going to be the best. However it was my fault for not reading the reviews before hand

Very noisy late at night and early morning with all the party revellers coming back had little sleep with all the noise in the coridors and doors banging.
Bathroom dangerous no slip mat or handrails in the shower not an issue if its a walk in but its a step into bath type holding onto a glass panel on 1 leg trying to get out an accident waiting to happen

The staff was nice, but some need more sence of urgency to help with the check in, check out process. The bed was really comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location is great! Pool is a little over 3 ft deep but we'll maintain anc super clean.

Pool area cleanliness

This hotel was in a good location and the rooms were clean enough. The 3rd sign that read “absolutely no pool parties” should have been my red flag. The pool was constantly packed, not the hotels fault however, my husband was bitten by ants all over his arm and back leaving itchy red spots for the entire evening. We brought it to the front desks attention, they didn’t do anything about it. Usually IHG properties are quick to address issues, this one wasn’t. If I were to need another place to stay in this area again, I wouldn’t stay here.

Nice hotel - crazy layout with bathroom

Be ready for a bathroom that has a window over the bed - so if you have a guest that’s sleeping , they’ll wake up when you use the bathroom. Also room was older with wallpaper peeling and TV gave us issues with screen going black -

The Hotel Indigo Birmingham is located in a landmark Art Deco style building dating from the early 1930s in the city's historic Five Points South neighborhood. The hotel is situated in the booming and vibrant town of Birmingham near UAB. Hotel Indigo is set in the lively and roaring entertainment district of Birmingham, reminiscent of Bourbon street. Originally designed for medical offices and across from the first apothecary in Birmingham, the building became a hotel in the 1980s, but still retains its original medical insignia etched above the elevator doors. The hotel's design acknowledges the building's rich history, while incorporating modern amenities, like hardwood floors, spa inspired showers, luxury bath amenities and linens. We are also adding some exciting and tasty options to an area already known as one of the city's premier dining and entertainment districts. The Rx Lounge pays homage to the medical apothecary theme and provides prescriptions in the form of food and beverage.
