Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Jacksonville, IL. With a convenient location off I-72, and situated between Hannibal, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois, our hotel in Jacksonville, IL is a great choice for all travelers. If you are in town for business, you might like to know that we are just minutes from Passavant Hospital, Reynolds, Nestle, and Illinois College.
The downtown square and Hamilton’s Catering are a short drive away. Coming into the area for a game of softball or baseball? The Future Champions Sports Complex is less than 6 miles away. Jacksonville’s history is right at your fingertips when you stay with us. Downtown Jacksonville is three miles away and features historic sites such as Governor Duncan's Mansion, General Grierson's Mansion and many Victorian homes. Woodlawn Farm, which was a stop on the Underground Railroad, is a few miles from our smoke free hotel. We have stayed at many holiday inn expresses and this one is by far the worst in every category

I have never been to a hotel where they allow there guests to have a drunken parking lot party in front of the building with loud music and yelling! And they allowed Children to be unattended in the pool area to throw things and cause chaos without stopping it! We were very disappointed

Worst hotel experience

No parking, our car got dents where they asked us to park. AC at the King Suite wasn't working and had to move to an ugly room with crumpled carpet at 2 am.

When I checked in, there was no acknowledgement about my points status. They were very proud to let me know they upgraded me to executive suite. It works out that it meant nothing because the TV in the sofa area didn't work, so it just had a really small king room! I called the front desk when I got to my room and let them know the TV wasn't working but nobody came to repair it. The next morning I stopped at the desk and told them about the TV and the front desk clerk said they would get someone to look at it shortly. She of course didn't write anything down. When I got to my room it still wasn't fixed because nobody even came to my room. When I checked out the next day and told them my issues with my stay, the 2 front deck clerks didn't even apologize or even act like it was anything unusual....apart from the issues, this place was just so old and dated and really needed a refit. I won't make this mistake again!

This hotel needs to be upgraded. It needs to be cleaned l. The staff eating noodles at the front desk. That's so unprofessional. I wouldn't take my dog to this hotel

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Alexandria - Downtown in the heart of Alexandria, Louisiana. The hotel is five city blocks off of Interstate 49 resting on the banks of the Red River. The Holiday Inn Alexandria - Downtown is Alexandria's premier full service hotel. We have Crossroads Tavern, Southern Heritage Bank branch and Aesthetician and Gold Dust Studio. The hotel has 11,800 sq. feet of meeting space and is attached to Alexandria Riverfront Center; which can accommodate larger groups. Enjoy the revitalized downtown entertainment district of Alexandria within a few steps of the front door. Centrally located between Shreveport and Baton Rouge off of I 49, a little over three hours NW of New Orleans, and less than an hour South from historic Natchitoches along the Cane River.
Dine at Crossroads Tavern and enjoy a specialty southern cocktail. Multiple Housekeeping issues

Have stayed here twice for extended work visits. Both times have had MULTIPLE issues with housekeeping. Rooms are not cleaned adequately. Managers are aware of the issues and don't seem to want to hold anyone accountable. I picked this hotel because it was close to work and was "newer". I will not stay here again due to multiple unresolved housekeeping issues.

We arrived at hotel and seemed to bother the lady at the front desk. The lady behind the bar area was disturbed at the fact that we wanted something to eat at 9:30 at night when we check in. They were out of a few different beers. The rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable!!
