When you stay at our Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brighton South - US 23 hotel, downtown Brighton is just minutes away. Explore the city and discover fabulous shopping, dining, and entertainment. Getting here is fast and convenient, too! The hotel is centrally located between Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint and Lansing, and we are just off US-23.
Leisure guests are glad that Green Oak Village Place Mall is just a half-mile from our property. Hotel guests also enjoy visiting Huron Meadows Metropark, which has a variety of recreational activities to keep the family busy all day. A number of great restaurants, such as Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Salsaritas are close to our hotel.

The Hotel seemed new and up to date .however
the fitness center is right on the lobby and everyone passing by stares ,not comfortable AT ALL
coffee was $3 for a regular size hotel cup,and the snacks available or so overpriced $4 for a snack bar .
rooms are small and the shower water never got really hot .
Restaurant has a very limited menu and closed before 8 pm
don't plan on eating here.

This is a nice resort if you have kids and want to sit by the pool.
Customer service is lacking for a top notch resort. UNLESS YOU TIP EVERY TIME. which is a lot when its all inclusive, and the drinks are not very strong.
The restaurants are always booked unless you want to pay for the extra meals .but when you look there is never anybody there.so no they are not booked .
Day trips are pricey but it is the only way to do anything off of the property .there is nothing nearby to the hotel. and not safe to walk out the front gate
Snorkeling is good around the island ,but it is shallow. and the resort doesn't let you go to far out, without paying for a day trip.
The room is nice and our maid did an Excellent job, and more than once a day .Very good! !
Kayaks have to stay in the roped off area and only for a short period of time ,Sailboats are a boat ride out and back by staff,not at all what I wanted to do or was expecting by looking at the pictures.
We enjoyed the nightly entertainment most nights.
Overall we enjoyed the resort. but didn't like they way we were treated most of the time .so we will find another location next year.
