Nice, but wouldn't go back

No, I do not recommend this property.
When I walked in I was greeted by the front desk person with a warm hello and welcome. She gave me directions and a discount to a steak house nearby to grab a meal and was just generally very nice to talk to. When I entered the room, I was impressed by how clean it was and the size (corner room). I was surprised by no safe in the room - was my only initial surprise. When I came back from dinner, I could hear every word of the conversation coming from the next room and every step of the person in the room above me. Thankfully, they went to bed early also, so it was not an issue for sleeping. I did find something, I am assuming food, inside one of the pillowcases, but the rest were fine. The bed was clean and comfortable. I use an additional door lock when I travel and was very surprised that the striker plate on the door jam was removed, making my lock not useful. It wasn't a deal breaker, but made getting a sound sleep difficult. The hotel manager explained the striker plate removal, which the reason made perfect sense, however, made for a not very comfortable stay. As for the breakfast, I just had coffee, so I can not speak to the food, but they make you answer on the survey.
I really want to like this hotel because the staff were awesome, it's in a nice location and easy to get to, but the noise in the room and the lack of security is a no go for me.

Front desk staff made the stay great!

Yes, I recommend this property.
I was coming in from a cruise and had to catch the shuttle at the FLL airport to the hotel. The directions for requesting the shuttle were a little lacking on detail and my frustration when I called the number on the reservation form was becoming very apparent. We were able to book the shuttle and got to the hotel without issue. Melissa at the front desk was very friendly and I offered an apology for being snarky on the phone, which she quickly dismissed the need for the apology and was more than gracious in understanding the frustration. Her positivity and friendliness was much appreciated! The hotel is clean and comfortable and an easy Uber ride to local resturants.
