Cafe and bathroom

The people at the cafe were so friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful.
The only thing I want to point out was the shower had some mold in the two corners. The cleaning steff must have missed them which would be hard to clean.

Not quite oceanfront

Comfortable beds, sharp looking rooms-no bathtub. Not quite oceanfront, you must first overlook the parking lot. Sea ranch resort is oceanfront-this, was not. Also when you sit on the chairs outside, you're granted a view of the handrails. Breakfast average, pool was a little chilly. Internet connection didn't work, and although we were promised a late checkout at 12-we were locked out at 11:15

I am unaware of any ongoing AC issues but the staff has been trained on how to trouble shoot when necessary. We want all our guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay and I see that we fell short of your expectations. Noise from other guests

This was our third time staying at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It was a slow night since it was a Sunday and there was space to separate guest rooms used. We had people on both sides of our room that were very loud until about 9:30PM. At least one group had young children who were not disciplined to respect others around them. I assume guests were grouped close together so the housekeeping staff would only have one area to clean but there were not that many people at the hotel on this particular night and they could have spaced the rooms used a little better so we wouldn't hear loud children in the room next door.

If we had known of the issues when they occurred, we would have been more than happy to move you to another room, in another area of the hotel. My family and I escaped for a little overnight getaway, and couldn't be more pleased with our stay! The hotel is centrally located amongst all of the different outings we participated in (going to the lake, the beautiful nature trails, dining). Our room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back!

Great Place to Stay

It is located close to many super places to eat and visit. Grandfather mountain and Boone are near as well. The hotel is right beside highway construction BUT we did not hear any noise or suffer any consequences. Great staff, very courteous and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great service and environment

The hotel was extremely clean with very attentive staff from beginning to end. I loved the bed, but the pillows were a little too firm, making sleep a bit difficult. The staff did best they could considering the weather (a storm with } 12 inches of snow) -- hot breakfast wasn't available because of a late call-in but they did well with substitutions. The only bad thing I have to say is that there was a very conscientious plow driver that actually plowed me in rather than out!!

We apologize for the late start to breakfast during the storm; the GM was able to come in shortly after opening to get breakfast served to the remaining guests.
Our beds have two types of pillows: Firm & Soft -- and are labeled on the pillow cases to better help our guest get the best comfort.
We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will choose to stay with us again, perhaps when the weather is a bit warmer, and the snow has ceased to exist.

Fresh, clean and uncomplicated, the Holiday Inn Express Edmonton Downtown hotel offers competitive business travel rates. Louie from the breakfast staff was so kind. He brought us water bottles to go and even served me another pancake as he had heard that I loved them. Great staff, comfortable beds and great location in downtown Edmonton.
