Welcome to Our Cape Girardeau Hotel. Just off I- 55 at exit 96, the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cape Girardeau I-55 offers hotel guests 102 spacious, contemporary suites. Vacation and business guests alike choose these accommodations for a comfortable and convenient stay. Our Cape Girardeau, Missouri hotel is just minutes from Southeast Missouri State University, where guests are encouraged to cheer on the Redhawks in football and basketball. We're also only 10 miles from Trail of Tears State Park, so families can enjoy picnics, hiking, biking and fishing. Be sure to stop by our Old Downtown area where you will not only enjoy a variety of shops and restaurants, but you can enjoy the great view of the Mississippi River. Hotel is clean and has up to date, fresh decor. Plenty of amenities in the room and a decent breakfast. Bed could be more comfy, was a little hard for my taste but pillows are good. Staff is plenty friendly and efficient.

Perfect stay

Staying in hotels very frequently I'd have to rate this one very high. The staff was very friendly never saw any of them without a smile. The shuttle showed up at the exact scheduled time. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable beds, large rooms, clean bath and great service

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of items from which to choose. The breakfast room opened at 3 am which allowed us to catch an early airline flight. The staff was very accomdating. The beds are very clean and comfortable.

Wall-to-wall windows in our 1909 Bar & Bistro offer clear views of the Alamo as you sip locally roasted coffee, or grab a quick, locally inspired drink. We re close to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and many other downtown attractions, too. Guests stay connected with free Wi-Fi, and we offer meeting rooms to host a board meeting or gatherings of up to 60.

Within walking distance of every thing around alamo free internet could be faster and business center sort of sucked but overall clean quiet and breakfast right down stairs in the morning

Clean and comfortable stay

Great heated indoor pool and fitness center. The rooms were clean, dark, and relatively quiet (the hotel is just a few hundred yards from the I-81). I've also stayed at the hotel next door (a newer property from another chain) and this hotel was MUCH better staffed and had far more conveniences.
