Not worth the money

The breakfast and 24-hr coffee and pool/patio were excellent. The hotel was walking distance from the civic complex/ice rink, which was the purpose for our traveling. However, our bathroom did not get cleaned thoroughly prior to our stay, and the beds were too firm. We were not asked if we were rewards members.

Terrible mattress and pillows like kleenex

Charged us $35.00 for bringing our 5lb Peekapoo dog which we never left alone in the room during our entire stay. Some kind of Marketing charge on our bill when we left we dont even know what it was for. We booked online and indicated government rate and they were not going to honor it until we had them cancel the online reservation and book us one on the spot. Check in host was adamant we were going to pay the online booking rate. Most Staff seemed new, one of the staff smelled like marijuana when she attended our room to fix the TV , need more experience with Customer Service and the ability to make common sense decisions.

The Pet Fee of $35 which is applied to guests' accounts when traveling with an animal, is to assist with the additional resources utilized to deep clean a guest room once a Guest and their pet departs. The carpet and furniture were stained. For the price I was not impressed at all. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at other hotels in the area that were less expensive but were clean and more updated. Very disappointed in the hotel and the restaurant.
