Night in Ashland

We have used this hotel for midway stop between Seattle and Sacramento for a number of years. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a highly responsive staff that show great courtesy during our stays. I've never been disappointed. I would suggest that they find bed pellows that are a bit softer and not as thick.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice and convenient right there in the hotel. The location was easy to get to. Most of all this is a very pet friendly hotel which I loved!

Safe area, attractive lobby, and nice shuttle service

Stayed here two separate nights before and after flying into Flint airport. Front desk people were friendly but forgot to offer the Welcome Amenity Points and didn't upgrade our room. The first room was fine accept the light colored carpet showed blackish stains in many areas making me feel like it was dirty. There was also dust on the bathroom tiles. During the second stay, we still didn't get the Points even after I specifically asked for them. No water was offered either. Went to rinse my mouth out from the sink and the water tasted awful. Bottled water really should be given for free.
Was very relieved that the area seemed to be safe and really appreciated the fast shuttle service offered to the airport. The lobby with the restaurant also appeared to be upscale.

Standard Holiday Inn

This is a standard Holiday Inn that as usual meets our expectations. The bed was really comfortable and the amenities were very good. The parking underground was a tight squeeze but free parking was available. The room heater was turned on when we arrived. It turned out to be a bit too warm for me, but I think the average person would feel fine with that. Not many restaurants close within walking distance, but many within a close drive. All in all a great stay.
