Rooms nice, hallway dirty with tons of take out garbage

The rooms were nice and the lobby was nice. The hallways had piles of stinky take out food from 6pm to after 10am the next morning. The smell was foul. I also could not get extra linen even after asking multiple times. Overall big disappointment but the price was good. Won’t stay here again even tho the location is great for the airport.

Poor Excperience

I had to wait to check in since I was told they where cleaning the rooms. Upon entering the room I discovered a soda can pull tab and receipt laying on the floor. This brings to question how much attention is being given to cleanliness especially in the this Covid environment. Secondly, they were having internet connectivity issues. I had experience the same issue in November when I stayed here. Staff was unable to assist me and explained that they thought to many people were on the internet.

We invite you to experience the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Natchez.
Located within walking distance of historic downtown Natchez, MS. This quaint Mississippi riverfront town is famous for historic Antebellum homes, civil war history, year round festivals and the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race . The Old South Winery offers a fun and relaxing day followed by riverfront dining and a variety of local pubs with live entertainment.
Natchez is quickly becoming a leader in the growing world of green fuel alternatives. Major corporations involved in this venture located near the hotel include Elevance, Enersteel, and Genesis Energy other major corporate partners include the Coca Cola Company, Earnst & Young and the Compass Group.
Our limited service Natchez hotel features sweeping landscapes of the Mighty Mississippi River, complimentary breakfast and a relaxing stay. Try staying somewhere else

IHG Platinum Elite Member. Disappointing stay. First suite that we checked into had not been cleaned. Second and 3rd rooms that we checked into had Hvac fans that sounded like they were grinding rocks so loud that the front desk could hear them over the phone. Finally the 4th room, though not a suite, was clean and had a normal sounding HVAC! Thank the Lord! FINALLY! But being a side sleeper on a hard bed soon over took that joy away. After turning over about 15 times to evenly distribute the misery to both sides, I finally gave up about 3:30am, rolled on my back and waited for morning. The shower was HOT and did not have a water saver shower head, which was awesome! I understand that covid has impacted the hotel industry but maintenance and cleaning are well below par at this hotel. The toilet takes at least 30 minutes to refill, soap scum/water spots are caked on the faucets, and the poor little plant right in front of the 1st floor main elevator was left to fend for itself at least a year ago.

Consider yourself at home at the Candlewood Suites, Ft. Jackson Columbia. This extended stay pet friendly hotel is located off of I77, just minutes from downtown Columbia, University of South Carolina, South Carolina Fairgrounds, Riverbanks Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Colonial Life Arena and CAE. We are a short drive to the Shaw AFB, McEntire National Guard Base and Fort Jackson. Please note that we are not located on base. We are also close to Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Providence Hospital and Dorn Veterans Hospital.

Room not cleaned

The room we requested top floor far away from elevator for quietness was found uncleaned on arrival.
No apology, just re-assigned to ground floor room in high traffic noisy room right next to elevators and maintenance room.
In times of Covid you have to question the cleaning policy to let this slip.
We got little sleep due to traffic outside door and noise from room above having little sound proofing.
We paid relatively high rate for this room in fairly new hotel and expected much better service and sleep!

Welcome to Cordele, your gateway to South Georgia and the Watermelon Capital of the World! Cordele offers a prime location on I-75 mid way between Atlanta and the Florida state line, a great place to stop for the night. You will find many dining options in our city, from fast food chains to fine dining. For entertainment, we have a nice little movie theatre as well. If you have a little extra time on your hands, The Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park is just a short drive down Hwy 300 to Lake Blackshear. You'll find a lovely golf course, Lake resort and marina, war museum, camp grounds, cabins, and multiple recreation areas. Come see all that our little city has to offer!

Area sucks. Check in was perfect. Bathroom floor was in need of mopping. I walked into a room where I thought breakfast was being served and I was told rudely that I was not supposed to be in that room. The same rude rude person checked us out. He needs a class on how to like your job and maybe he would be happy to have a job

Just Okay...

Upon arrival front desk staff was amazing inquired about my stay and was very helpful.
I got to my room, which was beautiful however I could tell it had not been tended to in a while. There were at least 3 huge clumps of dust visible in my room, the phone and bedside lamp table were full of dust as well. Also not sure if this is a thing the bedside clock was completely the wrong time....
I was in a bit of a rush due to having only one night with delayed flights so it wasn’t ideal to have to clean up in that moment. When I went into the bathroom the Kleenex was all balled up in the holder as if it had once come out and someone stuffed it back in...
I went to take a shower and my wash rag had a huge hole in it after I unrolled it, to me that’ shows laziness and never something I would want a guest to use.
Had I been staying longer than a night I would have asked for another room, however I was exhausted from the trip but it would have been helpful to be in a room that felt like it was prepared for my stay especially since there were not many guests in the hotel. Also the room was freezing and I didn’t know how to work the thermostat it felt like no matter that I put it on cold air was blowing out.....
