Centrally located on Shelburne Road in South Burlington Vermont, just off Interstate-89 and adjacent to Route-7, our hotel provides convenient access to many area attractions, businesses and transportation. Only 5 miles from the Burlington International Airport and a short drive from the University of Vermont, Champlain College and Saint Michael's College. Shopping attractions are only a short commute to downtown Burlington which includes the historic Church Street Marketplace,the University Mall on Dorset St. in South Burlington and more in Taft's Corners in Williston .
The Holiday Inn Express is a 100% smoke-free environment and offers luxurious rooms and many outstanding amenities for your comfort. All our rooms feature modern furniture, coffee-makers, hair dryers and iron and extended cable television featuring HBO. All rooms feature access to our wireless high-speed internet, heated indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center, laundry facilities and our delicious Holiday Inn Express Smart Start breakfast included!

Stay Away!

The location of the hotel is on a main busy road so there is a lot of businesses around the area. There were also a lot of truck drivers that use this hotel so not the ideal situation for families or single ladies traveling alone. The hotel rooms are very dirty but the hallways and main areas are clean. The breakfast food is disgusting everything tasted artificial, stale, and is just poor quality food. The pool is dirty and cold. I would recommend staying at another hotel.

Disappointing

Bed was uncomfortable, soft in the middle and hard on the outer rim. Water dripping from vents. Stains all over carpets-not just one or two. Not enough bathroom towels for the number of guests booked, and when asked for more the front desk still couldn’t get us the correct size and number of towels we should have had from the start. Forgot our request for a crib for hours and we had to call back to finally get it. Pool didn’t open until noon. Lots of breakfast choices-most were not edible and had spoiled milk. Location and parking are the only positives in our stay. We have stayed at this hotel a couple times before, but this will be our last time. The hotel has went down hill.

Actual rooms are nice but there was mold along the window. We chose this hotel based on pictures of the pool. The pool was disgusting, filled with debris, obviously had not been cleaned in weeks. The pool area had chairs that clearly had been moved around in groups and not reorganized. There were no umbrellas available. Trash was overflowing outside.

Weakest link in Indigo chains

I love Hotel Indigo and I am almost always happy with my stay, no matter which city I am in. I wanted to like the one in Frisco, TX but sadly, we were very disappointed with our stay. First, the cleanliness of the hotel was not up to the standards I am used to enjoying with the Indigo chains. There was dust, fingerprints on doors/elevators, dirty carpet and unkempt common spaces. The floors in our room were sticky when we arrived and they don't clean daily, so we dealt with it. Secondly, the common spaces were not up to par. The pool area had litter and smelled horribly of sewage and trash. The poolside trashcan was overflowing and there were never any towels left in the poolside cabinet. The showers were being utilized as storage space for umbrellas and there was even a decorative stool turned upside down being used as a makeshift trashcan. The tables in the lobby were not wiped down regularly and had fingerprints and were sticky. Lastly, the stench of this hotel is overwhelming, even for us as world travelers. The lobby and bathrooms downstairs reeked of sewage, as did the parking lot and pool areas.
As I said, Hotel Indigo usually runs a spotless ship, that's why I trust them. After this visit, I am reconsidering my commitment to the brand. This hotel was just not there in terms of quality of others I have stayed in, throughout the U.S. Sorry to Frisco but this was an overall disappointing experience.

Staff was friendly unless approached with a question or issue, then you seemed to bother them. No room cleaning is offered and you have to go to the front desk to ask for towels and linens, and change them out yourself. Dirty items and trash is to be placed outside your door and at some point it may get picked up by staff (this was at their request to be placed outside the room). The pool you cannot access without staff entry and limit of 10 people even if all in your group, understandable I suppose with Covid.. Pool looks dirty. Sink in the room did not work, hair on the bathroom floor and the room was so damp it felt like the floor and linens were always wet.

Don't stay in Clinton!

There is literally no where to go for dinner in this town! THe only restaurant in town was being remodeled, and therefore, closed, and our desk clerk could not recommend any other place except one 25 miles away in the next town. After driving all day, this was not an option. We ended up eating at a small diner, burgers, which we did not want. The hotel was fine, but the location is awful.

Disappointed in the lack of customer service and cleanliness

First thing we noticed when we walked into the hotel room was how damp and musty everything was - I get that it's humid in Florida but this was just gross.

We stayed at this hotel five nights and understand with Covid they weren't offering daily cleaning service. According to the paper we were given however, they would clean the room with 24 hours notice. We gave them 24 hours notice twice and nothing was ever cleaned.
The room was so damp and musty that the towels didn't dry after a shower even though we hung them up. When we turned the towels in for new towels, we were told several times there were no clean towels available.
Completely disgusted with the lack of cleanliness and service. Not worth the money and would not stay here again.

We stay at Holiday Inns all the time and generally find that they have excellent staff. We were greeted as if we were intruding on the staff's time. Our first room had non-working plumbing and when we complained they moved us to another room quickly but with barely an apology. Our second room had a light out in the bathroom over the sink which we told the front desk about. it was never fixed. another light went out while we were there and we never bothered to complain, because they didn't respond to the first one being out. Also, during our three night stay our room was never cleaned. We were not asked if we wanted the room cleaned or told it wouldn't be, just no one ever showed up. The restaurant was not open due to staffing issues. The nicest person working the front desk acted like this was his first job and was outside smoking every time we saw him, but at least he was pleasant.

An OK Stay

Of course, due to Covid-19 there was not a lot of amenadies.
No restaurant or bar to sit at and enjoy...no pool bar service or room service.
we were extremely disappointed with the pool area. The photos that made us want to go to this hotel on your website were fabulous looking, but when we saw the pool area, WOW were we so unhappy it was so small!!
