Find another hotel

Upon arrival we were met with our rooms smelling rancid and nothing in the rooms was clean. It was disgusting and we had a toddler staying with us. There was a car blocking the main entrance for our entire stay. We were told it was a staff member’s but it was in the way and did not allow fir easy unloading. Given the lack of cleanliness of our rooms we didn’t even attempt the breakfast. As soon as we could move to another hotel, we checked out. Staff was not helpful upon check in. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely horrible!

Our room was musty feeling and smelled like mold. Our air didn’t work, brought to the staffs attention only for the maintenance guy to come in unplug and plug it back in and tell us it worked. Clearly it didn’t. I physically had to go buy a box fan to keep us somewhat satisfied and able to sleep. I will NOT be staying there again.

The Beds we fine that was it. The ice machines didn’t work either.

I hope you can improve for the next people.I was a nightmare so I hopefully you will help these workers.I understand people don’t want to work right now but try and get more helpful people.I forgot when my daughter tackled the front deck about the mud on the carpet the lady hung up on her.

Very disappointed

My daughter and I were treated very poorly by a particular staff person during our 2 night stay after we asked about extending our stay for an additional night and when we asked about breakfast. She was yelling at us in front of other customers and she slammed the phone down on me when I called from my room. The toilet was singing with a strange noise for our entire stay. The noise from the hot tub area was loud at midnight and we were on the 5th floor! Constant door slamming into the wee hours of the night-people running up and down the hall. Very very disappointed in our stay. Also, I was not able to redeem points and the hotel did not care that I was a Gold Elite IHG member.

Guest love the Holiday Inn Express & Suites York! We are located off I-83 less than three miles from York College and Wellspan York Hospital and within minutes of Johnson Controls, Dentsply, Gichner Shelters, General Dynamics, BAE and many more. Nearby you will also find Appell Center for Performing Arts, Pullo Center, Peoples Bank Stadium, home of the York Revolution, and of course Harley Davidson. All of our spacious rooms include a microwave and mini-fridge , Keurig and 42" TV. Our Executive Rooms also include a pull out sofa sleeper and dining area in addition to the large work area in all rooms. We offer free hot breakfast , free Wi-Fi, 24-hour Fitness and Business Centers, same day dry cleaning, and a heated outdoor seasonal pool. Once more we are 100% smoke-free and Pet-Friendly

Not Up to Holiday Inn Express Standards

This property only recently became a Holiday Inn Express and it is clear they have not yet reached the standard of service one would expect from an HIE property.
1. Our room needed maintenance.
a. One hinge of the toilet seat was completely detached.
b. The tub spigot was VERY loose - ready to fall off!
c. It was impossible to get cold water from the sink spigot. I ended up turning off the hot water.

2. They had not ordered enough food for breakfast.
a. They ran out of milk.
b. There was no fruit at all.
c. There was plain bread.
d. There were no biscuits and gravy.

What bothered me most was the staff didn't seem to care and made no attempt to make things right.

Before you stay at this property, give the management team a few more weeks to figure out how to properly run a Holiday Inn Express.

Worst experience of my life

Had to get corporate involved through several phone calls on a Friday night due to emergency cancelation which was not allowed to the point where front desk was hanging up on corporate. This was supposed to be a treat for my best friends birthday. Desk told us they would not cancel, our card would be charged full room rate and we would lose all points. My best friend was stuck in Nasville and could not get up to Nicholasville. We called at 7pm on a 3pm check in. We are almost platinum elite members. Worst experience ever in my life with anything. Took place 7/23/2021.

Holiday Inn Express Valencia-Ciudad las Ciencias

Welcoming Valencia hotel near the City of Arts and Sciences with free breakfast and a bar Holiday Inn Express Valencia Ciudad Las Cienciasis the closest hotel to the Oceanogràfic aquarium a short walk away. It's a five-minute walk to the striking City of Arts and Sciences, while dining and shopping is just next door at the El Saler mall. There's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel for easy access to Valencia city centre. You can drive to popular Las Arenas beach or the handsome Old Town in 15 minutes. Comfortable bed

Well the bed was comfortable and the AC was nice and cold. The location was good. However, there were dark black hairs on the shower wall and bathroom floor, and the towels. I have platinum silver hair, so I notified the front desk even though it was 10pm when I got into the room. The desk girl said the cleaning lady would clean the bathroom right away, I showed her photos and brought down a towel. I had to sit in the hot lobby for 20 minutes until they told me I could go back up. When I went back up, the same black hair was on the shower wall!! I just did not use the bathroom at all and went straight to bed, as I had a very early flight in the morning.
