Welcome to Fredericksburg, Virginia! The Holiday Inn Express ® Fredericksburg Southpoint, located just off of I-95 at exit #126 on Patriot Highway. Our hotel offers a convenient location near all of the Fredericksburg attractions! Civil War enthusiasts can explore Chancellorsville Battlefield, Fredericksburg Battlefield, Wilderness Battlefield and Spotsylvania Battlefield. Other Fredericksburg attractions include George Washington’s Ferry Farm and Kenmore Plantation.
Shopping enthusiasts will enjoy exploring Old Town Fredericksburg, with more than 100 boutiques and art galleries. Central Park offers more than 200 retailers and a movie theater. Wine, Hop and Spirits lovers can live it up at A. Smith Bowman Distillery, Blue and Gray Brewing Company, Lake Anna Winery and many more. Not a good value

This hotel is expensive. The lobby smells like chlorine from the pool. The bottom of the toilet near the floor was dirty- looks like it’s not cleaned on a regular basis. The chaise furniture in the room is badly stained. I didn’t sit on it or even place my bags on it. The fruit served during breakfast was overipe. Brown pineapple is not appealing to the eye. It shouldn’t have been served. Furniture in the dining room and lobby is old. Seat cushions are peeling.

Needs to improve

I stay ay a lot of hotels. Now that covid restrictions have been lifted, most hotels are back to serving a good warm breakfast. Not this hotel. I could not even get any orange juice.

Einfach nicht gut

Zimmer ist sehr laut, Bahnstrecke neben das Fenster, Reinigung der Nachbar Zimmer samstags früh sehr laut, Türen knallen neben an ständig, keine Handtücher im Bad, Betten sind sehr rutschig, man fällt mehrmals Nacht auf dem Boden. Frühstück sehr begrenzte Auswahl .

A smart hotel near Lyon’s Old Town, with an outdoor pool, free parking and WiFi included
Holiday Inn® Lyon Vaise hotel sits just off the A6 motorway near the Old Town , and a 15-minute walk from Valmy metro station.
Moments away from the A6 motorway and the city’s Périphérique ring road, business guests are a 15-minute drive from both La Part-Dieu business district and the Palais des Congrès de Lyon conference centre. Dieses Hotel wurde von uns gebucht als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Sardinien.
Dies ist das schlechteste Hotel mit Abstand, in dem ich je übernachtet habe.
Alt, schmutzig, abgenutzt. Die Einstellung der meisten Mitarbeiter ist so, als ob man hier einfach nicht willkommen wäre.
Ich beginne mit dem Positiven: Trotz des späten Eincheckens waren 2 Zimmer für mich und meine Familie vorbereitet und der freundliche Rezepzionist war schnell dabei, sie zu vergeben. Das Parken auf dem Dach ist kostenlos.
Das ist das Ende der Pluspunkte und dann kommen nur der Minuspunkte:
Das gesamte Hotel, angefangen vom Parkplatz, ist sehr schmutzig und stinkig. Das Fenster am oberen Eingang ist zerbrochen, der Boden im Aufzug ist klebrig (wahrscheinlich verschüttetes Bier) und niemand hat sich die Mühe gemacht, ihn am Tag der Ankunft oder Abreise zu reinigen.
In der Lobby vor den Hauptaufzügen stinkt es nach Abwasser, im 5. Stock sind die Teppiche an den Wänden staubig und schmutzig, die Qualität der Reinigung in den Zimmern ist ekelhaft, die Schalter sind verschmiert, die Toilette ist fleckig. Das Kinderspielzeug fiel hinter den Nachttisch vor dem Eingang, ich schob es weg und war schockiert, Schmutz und Staub wie in einer Scheune. Im selben Raum (520) funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, und in der Ecke stapelten sich eine mobile Klimaanlage und zwei Ventilatoren, mit dem Geräusch der mobilen Klimaanlage zu schlafen, während das Fenster geöffnet ist, um das Abluftrohr zu verlegen, ist ein weiteres Vergnügen.
Übrigens: Die Fenster in allen Zimmern lassen sich uneingeschränkt öffnen (keine Kippfunktion möglich) was sehr gefährlich ist, wenn man kleine Kinder dabei hat!
Da unsere Fähre von Toulon nach Sardinien um 4 Stunden Verspätung hatte, brauchten wir eine Late-Check-Out-Option. Da ich Spare Elite-Mitglied des IHG Club bin, bin ich berechtigt, diese Option zu nutzen, die ich manchmal nutze. Zum ersten Mal seit der Nutzung der IHG-Hotelkette wurde ich also abgelehnt! Mit großer Mühe durften wir nach Gespräch mit dem Hauptmanager in einem der beiden gebuchten Zimmer übernachten, und dann klopfte stündlich das Personal an die Tür (oder öffnete sie einfach), um sich zu erkundigen, wann wir das Zimmer verlassen würden!

9 Tage Holiday Inn Alexander

Nette Leute an der Rezeption. Zimmermöbel veraltet, Gardinen mit kleinen Löchern. Frühstücksbrötchen hart, Kaffee dünn und nicht heiß. Leider kein Pool und keine Sauna vorhanden. Spielraum für Kinder oder Kickertischraum für Jugendliche ebenfalls nicht vorhanden. Fitnessraum sehr klein. Leider kein kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Wir hatten Executive Room. Nähe zur U-Bahn und S-Bahn ideal. Disco gegenüber daher von Freitag bis Sonntag am Abend sehr laut. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Keine Hilfe vom Service Personal

Service Personal hat nicht darauf reagiert als ich große Haarbüschel in der Dusche kritisiert habe außer dass er meine Fotos abkopiert hatte. Keine Entschuldigung. Kein Kommentar. Keine Reaktion. Auch am Abreisetag habe ich das Thema angesprochen. Wieder keine Reaktion als wäre er eine Maschine.
Selber Mitarbeiter hat einem englisch- aber nicht deutsch-sprachigem Mann seine Hilfe verweigert, als dieser fragte, ob er ein starterkabel für sein Auto haben könnte, das nicht anspringt, oder ob er wüsste an wen er sich wenden kann. Der Mitarbeiter hatte gesagt dass er nicht helfen konnte. Ich habe sodann weitergeholfen und versuch. Anlaufstellen angerufen, gedolmetscht und Preise usw eingeholt obwohl ich mich in der Stadt nicht auskenne.
