WARNING HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I had a reservation for almost a year and called 3 different time to check to make sure they didn't screw it up even up to the day before arrival. Upon arrival I was told that they had over sold my room and they would put my party in two separate rooms. I had a two bedroom suite with on King and the other room 2 queens reserved. They put me in a room on the 3rd floor with a queen bed and my kids in a room on the 2nd floor with two twin beds opposite side of the hotel. We reserved a room to hold 6 comfortably and ended up with having to rotate people to the couch. I told the front deck that this was ridiculous and I was told that the Manager said that's what they could do or we could find somewhere else to stay. I still have not heard from anyone about this complete lack of customer service so I will be taking there advise and find a different place to stay in the future. i will give it another couple of weeks and if I don't hear from them I will most likely try to stay away from any IGH in the future.

I was not pleased with my accommodations due to the fact there were several eyesores. I feel that by there being several obvious eye sores that had gone untouched I can’t believe care and concern was taken to clean and disinfect the rooms properly.
I was given a non cleaned smelling room at first and I guess since I complained I was given something more to be dissatisfied with.

Lousy breakfast

The breakfast that was offered was the same every day, and our was lousy. The remote for the TV only got you maybe 5 channels. Our floor looked like it was not vacuumed. Crumbs on the floor. The staff was not real up to speed with the customers needs. They should all go back for training.

Bad Smell in the room

when I entered my room it had a musky smell an you can smell cigarette also , I figured if set the ac on 60 to cool the room down, Maybe that the smell would go away . well around 11:30pm I decided that I could not take the smell anymore packed up an decided to leave i was going to notified the front desk, but the young man that was working the front desk had a line of check in of 3 to 4 people an me being tired an frustrated i just decided to leave , I did contact IHG on that Monday an I did think I sent a complaint to the corporate off also
I don't like complaining
But this room was not comfortable at all ' I have stayed at this location before an never had a problem, an I'm sorry to complain now but when you can't breathe right in your room its time to go...I do have medical problems also .
So that has alot to do with my stays

Our Saint Marys hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is the home of Straub Brewery,offering tours, a drive-up store and a gift shop. Our hotel is minutes from Bendigo State Park, Decker's Chapel,which has been called the smallest church in the United States, and St. Joseph's Convent, the oldest Benedictine woman's community in the United States.
There are many opportunities for outdoor recreational activities in Saint Marys. The city parks offer a wide array of well-organized programs, including swimming, basketball, tennis, volleyball, softball, soccer, archery, arts and crafts, day camps, aerobics and more.
Take a 25 mile drive to the village of Benezette in Elk County to view the famous Pennsylvania Elk Herd. The city of Buffalo and the world famous Niagara Falls are about two hours from the hotel.
Enjoy our Express Start breakfast with our world famous cinnamon rolls.Guests will enjoy the exercise room and the indoor heated pool.
Business travelers will appreciate conveniences like high-speed wireless & wired Internet, fax and copy services.

Dirty room - moldy shower head, bathroom smelled of urine, smudges on mirrors, fruit loops and other crumbs on floor and around beds, keurig but no kcups!
Maids will harass you to check out early.
Staff not friendly at all.

Uncomfortable bed, disgusting hotel, bad service all around

During my stay I had to move to 4 rooms because room 1 was dirty, room 2 had a garbage smell coming from the disposal, room 3 had non functional burners and room 4 was dirty and had a fridge that broke down and made all of my food go bad.
The carpet throughout the hotel was filthy and stained, including in my room. I had to purchase an air purifier for my room because the air quality was so bad.
Not only did I have to move rooms that many times, I found dog feces on the floor of the hotel hallways on 2 separate floors on more than one occasion.
Painters got black paint all over the outside of my hotel window blocking my view of the nearby book cliffs. I brought this up to management 5 days before checkout and the black paint was still there upon checkout.
I asked for a refund and was given points, this is NOT a sufficient reimbursement for the trouble I’ve had in this disgusting hotel.

Don't stay here for more than two nights in a row. They will not come clean your room, give you fresh towels, or even take out your garbage. I stayed for two weeks and had to continually ask for towels. I had so much garbage piled up I have to ask for garbage bags. Also the breakfast was terrible, the exact same thing every day. It was very poor quality and well below average for most hotels. I would not recommend staying here, one or two nights is bearable but don't stay any longer than that.

Almost Everything Wrong

Made rez in April for 3 rooms, took 5 phone calls to corporate to get 2 cancelled, because this location's phones were out for over 6 weeks. Arrived, asked for 1st floor as per rez, told none available - in my second tri upstairs (in teh slowest elevator ever), I see 3 guys check in AFTER me and get 1st floor rooms (Platinum status doesn't mean anything here) - when I asked, I got a story of her being there 3 months from another town, etc etc. That evening some guy across the hall passed out with teh TV on full bore, desk said they called but couldn't help - thank God for noise-cancelling headphones.
This stay was a disaster, I hope the owners in Chicago sell it to someone who cares.

Worst experience ever.

Love Staybridges, but this location was the worst. Do not stay there unless you like being lied to about the price and not getting it corrected, enjoy light bulbs missing from 1/2 the fixtures, and a filthy sink. If you did these things, go for it. Stayed at this location routinely for years and after a year away and coming back, things have changed drastically. I will NEVER stay at this location again. Others, yes, but not here off Meridian.

Awful, awful, awful. Didn’t have correct rooms ready for us on arrival despite us contacting the hotel on four occasions to check everything. This was when someone bothered to answer the phone- they did not respond to email either! Took and hour to sort the room, no apology, complimentary drink while we were kept waiting NOTHING. Travelling with a small baby so made of room service - again not service. First night not everything arrived, dessert never did! Second night it took 2.5 hrs and took us going to the restaurant to see where it was as well as another call. Spa staff were rude and unhelpful when approached with a question. I can only say I have never experienced anything like this place. I really would recommend booking elsewhere
