Poor customer service

Customer service was terrible at this hotel.
An alarm went off in next room two nights in a row (12:05 a.m.!) and the second night it took over 1/2 hr to get it turned off, as the front desk attendant wouldn’t answer the phone…so I had to go downstairs to find him. No communication or apology whatsoever from him!

Stay Elsewhere!!!

The beds are as uncomfortable as the floor is, they are not done renovating the property and placing guests in the unfinished rooms as they did me. Way too much wrong and uncomfortable to mention here, my warning is go elsewhere....oh, and by the way, we are seniors and military retired too. Horrible treatment by managers promises made and broken. NO POOL TOO....the front desk staff are truly amazing and so helpful. We filled half of the hotel.

Go somewhere else

When this hotel first opened it was a good option, but after our recent visit we will never stay there again. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!! It’s run down and dirty, door won’t shut and lock properly, "guaranteed" a roll away bed and didn’t have upon arrival so had to sleep on the dirty carpet all weekend, no hand soap, not enough towels, no coffee creamer…the list could go on and on. When you raise an issue with the staff, their response is "I'm sorry" but they don't do anything to rectify the situation. Lost confidence in IHG. Do not stay here! Better options in surrounding area for ND football weekends.

Do not eat the buffet. Way overpriced and completely a waste of money. The building is falling down in places. Staff is always outside smoking in the guest walk ways. Rooms are a complete mess. Looks to be falling apart. Way overpriced stay. Try another hotel.

Slamming doors and no sleep

It started with checking.
Upon arrival we checked in pretty seamlessly and received our rooms keys. The security guard was on site to insist they was no unground or onsite parking avaliable. When proceeded to a vacant lot next to the building, we saw several open spaces with the holiday inn grounds. We proceeded to park both our vehicles in the covered parking. He then explained that we aren’t allowed to park those spaces because they are for residents. Sounds like he had a different agenda for wanting us to parking in a vacant lot with no other cars around.
Got the the room, clean and just as advertised. Proceeded to bed and about 30 minutes into sleep, doors all around us began slamming. This went in throughout the evening and into the next morning. Doors slamming so hard that the walls were shaking. Needless to say we found zero sleep.
