Uncomfortable and loud room

Room was clean but that’s all we can say. Beds are uncomfortable and so are the pillows. Room was loud because of course it’s close to the airport and the windows should be upgraded. No place to hang towels besides one hook behind the door in the bathroom. Room smelt like someone tried to cover up animal urine when you walked in the room. Overall, would never stay here again.

Literally the only highlight for us was the attentive and friendly breakfast staff and the delicious food. Pool was dirty, rooms noisy and tired looking, checkin staff were not helpful or interested.

We've stayed here before the hotel is usually pretty good sadly the way they handled our AC situation was not the best but they did comp the room for the treacherous night.

Holiday Inn Express wont answer my emails - but they used my email details in someone else's booking , in someone else's name. I was not billed for it - but keep getting asked how I enjoyed the stay - but it was not me who stayed. They seem very unconcerned about it, to the point of ignoring me. They are unwilling to tell me how it happened.

Worst Holiday Inn Express Experience

Poorly run property. Rooms are old and shabby. Lamp shade had holes and dents, desk was visibly dirty, phones didn’t work there is no one at the desk, just a sign that says they’re off doing other things and you should wait till they return. The room was not clean and fixtures in shower were falling off the wall. Only got 1 towel and was told if I wanted more I needed to go downstairs to get them. The hot foods at breakfast were cold, there were no lids for coffee cups so couldn’t even take a cup of coffee to go. When checking out the worker was VERY sick, coughing and sneezing the whole time. I would not recommend this property.

Great except

Very nice staff, room large, bed and bedding really good, great location for beaches BUT BUT BUT in four days seeing perhaps 150 or so staff and guests exactly one person was masked. The desk, kitchen and management all unmasked, no social distancing. Unmasked guests all bunched around serving dishes at breakfast. Many guests and staff were 60 plus in age. I would avoid this hotel. Stayed at several other chains on this trip and while none perfect, all were way better than here.
And an oddity: All the room key cards had Wyndam Hotel pictures and logos, not IHG.

Very shabby dated property. The head maid is the best thing about the property. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are in extreme need of upkeep and remodeling. The front desk staff, the younger ones, need to seriously be trained in how to speak to people courteously, and know more about what to do in the event of bad weather especially tornadoes!

Located in Old City in Istanbul, Holiday Inn Istanbul Old City is a 12 minutes' walk from the Grand Bazaar and historical Istanbul University while Sultanahmet Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower and Basilica Cistern and many other spots are just a few stop away via tram and metro which would take you roughly 20 minutes to reach major spots.

Not worth it

It's far from the public tram/metro station. It's not accessible/easy for anyone in a wheelchair/stroller. Staff does not help. Mini fridge in the room is broken and staff ignored me when I said the baby's milk was rotting. I had to take the baby to the hospital for treatment for drinking rotten milk. The baby crib is broken, terribly repaired, and dirty. Do not book a room here.

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Tampa North I-75 - University Area . We are less than 3 miles from the University of South Florida - home of the Bulls and 12 miles from historic downtown Tampa. Nestled in Telecom Park we offer a great location for anyone traveling to Temple Terrace or Tampa area.
Accommodations include complimentary Wi-Fi, self-parking and hot breakfast buffet daily. Fitness buffs can enjoy our complimentary fitness center or take a dip in our outdoor heated pool while catching some rays on our large patio area. All large guest rooms are equipped with microwaves, mini-fridge, Keurig, 32" TV and work desk. Our Suites offer all these amenities plus a separate living room area with a sleeper sofa.
