Holiday Inn Rapid City Downtown - Conv Ctr
Our hotel provides guests with an ideal location near some of the most spectacular sites in the world. We are close to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Wind Cave National Park, Badlands National Park and Crazy Horse Monument. Other nearby attractions include Bear Country USA and Reptile Gardens. Not to mention we are just a short drive to Sturgis, home of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and adjacent to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center/The Monument.
When it comes time to work, you have everything you need with our business center, free high-speed wireless Internet and well-equipped executive rooms.
We also have 14,000 sq feet of meeting space to accommodate any event from a small meeting to a large banquet.
Take advantage of all our great amenities such as the indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, and sun deck.
When its time to dine, find your favorite dish or enjoy a drink at our restaurant, the Gold Bison Grill.

Terrible Experience

There was no housekeeping at all. The first day I received 2 towels and the bed wasn't made. I went down and asked if this was the new protocol. They said yes I would need to request that by 9 am. I said I needed wash clothes and shampoo. That never came that day but I figured they would bring it the next day. Next day, no dirty towel pick up, no shampoo, no towels or wash clothes. I go down again and I'm told if I need ANYTHING I would need to tell the front desk the night before. There were no signs stating this, I wasn't told this. Usually there is a card you can lay on the bed or show in the bathroom If you don't want or need anything. This was the most disappointing experience, especially since my bill was $600+

Holiday Inn Basingstoke hotel offers comfortable hotel rooms, functions rooms, bar and restaurant , and more. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi , a free pass to the gym and pool Kids stay and eat free . Our air-conditioned hotel rooms have blackout shades and a choice of pillows to help you sleep, and 24-hour room service . Dine on seasonal dishes in our restaurant, relax with a drink in the lounge. On a bright day, you can soak up the sun in the garden. Book our meeting rooms and hotel wedding venue for 110 people, with catering packages and free parking for guests. Our Basingstoke accommodation is close to the town centre and M3 motorway , providing easy access to London, the south coast and Heathrow Airport , a 50 minute drive away. Basingstoke Station also has direct trains to London Waterloo. Our hotel is close to Basingstoke Leisure Park , ideal for rainy-day activities, with an Aquadrome, a cinema and an indoor skydiving centre, and you can browse 100 high-street stores at the Festival Place shopping centre. For a day out, take a tour of Windsor Castle , 55 minutes away by car.

Rooms need to be upgraded - feels like a really old hotel
Housekeeping needs to be better. Watercups / towels not replaced.
Communication needs to be better. I was placed in IHG Club Room Floor. I am also a Platinum Elite Member. I called the reception to confirm if I have 2 pieces laundry complimentary. They said yes. But at time of check out were insisting i pay. Diana at the reception was extremely rude

Overpriced hotel- dining out on its location.
Rooms were never serviced properly and a lot of things are starting to feel old and tired. Could do with some hotel maintenance (my bathroom basins did not drain) towels need to be replaced ect. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Although I definitely do not agree with charging to deliver room service. I would not stay here again, I feel I could get a lot more value for money elsewhere and with better ammenities.

Holiday Inn Express Bath is a short drive from the city centre and Bath Spa train station. Catch flights from Bristol Airport, a 45-minute drive away, or head on the nearby M4 or M5 motorways if you’re driving.
Take in the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s rich history and beautiful architecture – go on a tour of the impressive Bath Abbey and climb atop the tower, wander down the iconic Royal Crescent and explore the shops, restaurants and cafes near Pulteney Bridge.
Take a dip in mineral-rich thermal spring waters at Thermae Bath Spa, with a 360-degree rooftop pool and multi-sensory wellness suites. Visit the incredibly preserved Roman Baths, with interactive exhibits and CGI reconstructions that bring the ancient attraction to life. Comfortable bed but not relaxing

On arrival it all seemed promising.
Room was disappointing because it was scruffy, dirty and the net curtain rail was hanging off the wall.
Thankfully, the air-conditioning was effective.
Evening meal was a dried-up mess of fish, peas, and potato sticks on a bed of paper. All rendered cold in seconds by the (effective) air-conditioning.
For some inexplicable reason we were told we could not sit in the bar area to eat although there were others doing so. We were stuck around the corner in the freezing-cold breakfast area.
On requesting porridge for breakfast was offered a tub of what appeared to be milk powder and oat powder and to add water. No thanks!
During breakfast, staff were standing around chatting to each other then whipping away plates etc before people had finished because they had left the table to get something else from the buffet.
On the whole, poor value for money compared to the Queen's Hotel, Farnborough. Chose IHG Bath because of good experience at Farnborough but it didn't live up to it.

Poor experience

Poor experience. I have already commented on the lack of replenishment of items in the bathroom and lack of cleaning of the room. I think you need to start cleaning the rooms daily again! I think you are wrong to continue using the COVID Pandemic as an excuse not to do so. At least give the guest the option of having housekeeping enter the room on a more regular basis, even if it is to empty wastebaskets and replenish item such as soaps and toilet paper and facial tissues, etc. We were not informed upon check-in of the hotel's policy on cleaning of the room, nor was anything posted in the room of the policy.
