In the age we are in, I expected my room to be thoroughly cleaned. Found someone else's clothes in the drawer while looking for extra blankets. And I was lucky to receive a complimentary half bottle of lotion!!!

Staff seemed bothered

I had to ask for a laundry bag and worked at front desk seemed bothered by request. Also, was asked if I wanted points or a snack at check in, but was not thanked for being a Diamond Elite member. Stayed at different Holiday Inn in Georgia, was offered points and snack and thanked for my status with IHG.

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is located in the heart of all things that brings you to Murray, UT.
We are the nearest hotel from Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, and less than 20 miles from the internationally acclaimed "greatest snow on earth" at Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude and Alta ski resorts. We have it all. We are only a short 14 minute walk from the Murray Central Transportation Center with direct access to Salt Lake International Airport, Downtown Salt Lake City via UTA Frontrunner and TRAX trains. We are 6 miles from Mountain America Exposition Center and 8 miles from Delta Center and just minutes from premier shopping, dining and entertainment and all the adventures that Salt Lake City, the Wasatch Mountains and the Salt Lake Valley has to offer.
Whether you are here for business or leisure, The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is a favorite for visitors to Murray and look forward to becoming your favorite too.

Overcharged, Terrible Service, & Poor Cleanliness

Rate was not adjusted as promised since one adult couldn’t make it. Room was not ready at nearly 6pm, check in was at 3pm. We had to clean our own shower because it was full of hair! The lady at the front counter lied to us 3 times about getting the proper rate and we never got refunded the almost $40 difference in price. Customer care did not correct the situation either, but promised a direct call and correction by the hotel. Never happened.

Poor stay

Poor stay nobody on reception very expensive hotel and sadly showing a lot of wear and tear - needs a refresh and also staff on reception when you arrive late. Not the normal HI standard but I suppose you will always have one poor stay per year and this one was mine.

Friendly Staff, but not well maintained

Had a 4 night stay with a toddler. While there were some renovations (kitchen) done in the room, the overall maintenance and cleanliness was lacking. It was clear that regular vacuuming or mopping is not done in the room by us finding crumbs, a flosser, broken crayon and a gummy bear in the room. The tub in our room clearly showed a lot of wear and leaked the whole time.
Front desk staff and breakfast staff were kind and attentive, but not enough to overcome the general maintenance of the property. Key issues for my stay:
1. Rooms were not properly maintained - had a leak in the tub, the room was filthy, smoke detector was found in a drawer not on the wall.
2. While there is gated parking, it was often difficult to find a spot in the gated parking area.
3. Supply of milk was very low, meaning it was not readily available at breakfast.
4. Beds were not comfortable.

The room was not ready upon arrival at 4pm. The bathroom needs a complete makeover. The a.c. in the room didnt work well at all. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. Would not recommend or stay here again.
