Comfortable Beds, Bathroom and Hotel Dirty

The hotel is situated in a little "rougher" part of Statesville, so the surrounding buildings are a little sketchy. There is a nice Ingles Grocery Store across the street that does clean it up a little. As far as the HIE itself, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty dirty as far as the walls and floors in the hallways. The hallway and walls outside of the first floor elevator are pretty dirty. Inside of our room, the room itself was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom however, didn't appear to have been cleaned, or at least cleaned well after the last guest. There was toothpaste smeared on the walls next to the mirror. The mirror was dirty and the bathtub had a noticeable amount of hair in it. Breakfast we standard with HIE the next morning. Only one girl trying her hardest working there, so she was getting a little overwhelmed trying to prepare food and keep the supplies stocked.
So in short: Comfortable beds, dirty hotel and room, in a not so great area.

The receptionist was very busy and maybe new. But had to go back and get towels. People coming and going maybe living there full time. Not sure. That’s okay but it’s run down and not up to holiday inn standards. It was cheap but we’ll stay at a different hotel next time.

Pittsburg Visit

A relatively good location particularly if you enjoy walking around to see the sights, walk to the river and the many museums. Room was large, innovative with the exercise equipment. Entrance not enticing but when they re do the old department store probably improvement will follow. Bug bear - after walking around all day turned on TV in the room, no real channels available, staff knew little about it and why people ever use DirectTV is certainly a mystery.

Ok Location, but overall not a great property for the price

easy access to the highways, not all staff spoke english and therefore was unable to resolve issue with the television in our room.
restaurant open for breakfast and dinner - not lunch. Don't get the buffet - very pricey and the food was cold. Order fresh off the menu.

Enjoy One of the Best Madison, Indiana Hotels
Our location is just minutes away from the Ohio River and Clifty Falls state park. Madison is a small historical town with a lot of character. We are in reasonable proximity to Louisville, KY, Lexington, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Indianapolis, IN; it is the perfect place to stay for your business ventures or a perfect weekend getaway.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is convenient to several local companies like VSG, Madison Precision, Grote Industries, Super ATV , and NUCOR . If you’re planning a visit to Hanover College , rest assured we are only 10 minutes away.
Our hotel is perfect for you to relax and have fun in Madison. Enjoy a round of golf at Sunrise Golf Course , two blocks from our location. Visit the historical homes including the Lanier Mansion located in downtown Madison. Hike the trails and explore the four Clifty Falls State Park waterfalls. Beds were hard and uncomfortable

Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast opitons were slim to none instead of fixing the issue the staff member stood and complained about not having a can opener to open Gravy for the biscuits. Staff even went as far as to ask guests for a can opener all the while not refiling any of the other breakfast options.

The breakfast was outstanding. July 7th the entire area lost electric power. Very scary! No mirror in the room except for in the bathroom. The bathtub is very slippery. Watch your footing. Housekeeping took one towel but left two. An incompetent afternoon employee checked us out on July 11tth. I had the room reserved to July 12th. I had to make a new reservation to get back into my room. No reason to stay at this hotel again.

Don't Stay Here

This resort was horrible, the room was bad, the food was bad, the liquor is cheap, and they don't provide bottled water unless you beg for it. You definitely get what you pay for here. Only good thing is that it's close to the airport.

Just a short drive to Silicon Valley and Oakland International Airport, our business hotel in Union City provides guests with spacious rooms and suites and wonderful amenities. 12,000 square feet and 11 event spaces provide the perfect backdrop for social and business events. Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, free parking, a Fitness Center, and an outdoor heated pool.
When staying at Crowne Plaza Silicon Valley N Union City, you can easily explore all the East Bay has to offer since you'll be just a short drive from San Jose, San Francisco, Milpitas, and Fremont. Tour local universities, like UC Berkeley or California State University East Bay, before going shopping at Union Landing. Families can visit Oakland Zoo and Great America, while art enthusiasts can browse the exhibits at the Berkeley Art Museum.
