Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites we want you to enjoy your stay as our guest in Junction City Kansas
Recently renovated hotel featuring a fresh modern decor and great perks like free high-speed wireless Internet, our Fresh Start breakfast each morning and indoor pool and fitness center. We are just off Interstate 70 and exit 298, making it easy to get to Fort Riley Army Base, area businesses, attractions and Manhattan, Kansas.
This hotels location is great for corporate travelers. In addition, our proximity to I-70 helps you get to your next destination with ease. The hotels’ conference room is available if you need a place to host up to 12 attendees.
Unique shopping, plus the usual fare, are within 10 minutes of the hotel. Once the pool renovation is completed, you can relax in the hotel's indoor pool.
Don’t leave Junction City without taking in the beauty of the Clark Hills and the Flint Hills. Our area is bordered by nearly 7 miles of rolling, resplendent, hills and part of the Tall Grass Land. Take a picture, return in 10 minutes, take another and marvel at the difference in the colors.

Do not stay at this hotel

This was probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I guarantee I will NEVER stay here again if I’m in the area. We were traveling cross country and reserved room here as a stopping off point for the night. After I checked in, I was informed the elevator was not working and we’d have to use steps to second floor. I asked to be moved to first floor as I’m 60 with a bad knee and were traveling with an elderly dog - was informed they could not do that. When we got to room, smoke alarm was hanging by wires out of the ceiling. The suite area of room had no lighting - NONE! It appeared a small end table with a light or a free standing light should have been there. There was no clock anywhere in the room. Air conditioning would not stay on. Keurig in room was broken. No coffee in lobby available until 6 am while other Holiday Inn Express hotels have a 4:30 am coffee service in lobby. Every time I went to front desk no one was there - hanging out in back room and seemed completely unconcerned about issues in room.

I love the location but very little parking, I had to get someone’s car towed to park. No refrigerator was in my room so hot drinks all night. And to top that off I had to get dressed in the bathroom because the curtains didn’t work

Horrible House Cleaning

Room was rarely cleaned. Towels and linens were rarely removed and replaced. No towels in the workout room. Multiple washer/dryers out of service. At one point both elevators were out of service. Coffee inconsistently made. People not staying at the hotel lingering around in the hotel lobby.

a Hotel not keeping upto the standards of IHG

The fronk desk was unhelpful and not trained. Did nothing to recognise/help a platinum card status. Travel desk was unavailable and offsite, Prices were 4x the normal rates. No bell desk to take care of bags.. had to carry them ourselves to the room and back. The bathrooms were not cleaned in probably a week and the curtains in 3 months. The bathroom curtain was covered in grime and dust, which could have been taken care easily with attentive housekeeping.

Pool is closed, rooms aren’t the cleanest and air con smells bad.

Disappointing that the pool is still closed and yet nothing on the website to state this. The rooms aren’t very clean and the air con systems is noisy and filthy, with a bad odour. You can’t open the windows, so you are trapped in an room that smells bad, with a noisy air con blowing mould over you.
