Conveniently located off I-94, corporations such as Domtar, Keihin Michigan Manufacturing, MAG, Wirtz Manufacturing, Customs and Immigration, and IAC are just minutes away.
Whether you are visiting the area for business or pleasure, Port Huron provides the perfect backdrop for an array of outdoor activities and has a number of unique landmarks. Visit Michigan's oldest lighthouse and enjoy picturesque scenery and river walks. Spend time exploring galleries, a dine-in moviehouse and restaurants. Take a sunset cruise aboard the Huron Lady II or visit the Port Huron Museum. Adequate stay with Good and Bad

This is a tough one to write because our stay was a mixed bag of both good and bad. The bed was large and comfortable, but the room smelled stale and the old, torn window shades wouldn't roll up unless you stood on the chaise lounge and manually rolled them.
Linoleum in lobby and elevator was dirty, cracked, and peeling. But breakfast was amazing! Plenty of variety, hot and delicious.
The indoor pool was heated nicely and there were fresh, clean towels. But, oy! Those water fountains in the pool area were flat out disgusting.
Lots of good things about this hotel, but it's definitely in need of a re-do.

Elevator did not go up to third floor when called. Had to phone front desk every time we wanted to go down. At the very least guests should have been told elevator was not working at check in and offered to change their room.

Modern hotel in the heart of Utrecht with great meeting facilities.

Very hard matress;backpain. Friendly personell and nice breakfast

We had pain in our backs and slept poorly because of the hard matress. My husband love the breakfast buffet. I liked it also, but the glutenfree options were 2 slices of bread that were hardly toasted. I expected more variety of choice and at least a glutenfee ciabatta or small bun. The rest of the buffet had items I could have so that was good.

Close to airport

As far as convenience to airport, this hotel has it. It offers free shuttle to and from airport. It was easy to contact hotel to get someone over to pick us up. They offer online check-in which was really nice because our room keys and room we ready to go. I've never had a simpler checkin.
The continental breakfast was what you would expect. Pancakes, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit.
The rooms could use a closer eye as far as cleanliness.
The beds are on the firmer side, but we had no problems actually sleeping.
We didn't hear any airplanes.
For a layover stay, this place is fine. Anything longer than that I would look elsewhere.

Good Bed

Carpet wet near AC Unit. Not sure if it was AC unit leaking or mold in carpet. It was wet up through first bed. We were in room 321. Other than that room was ok. Also remote on Tv batteries were low.

Great Service and Staff

I came to NOLA to work a trade show at the convention center. The St. James was conveniently located for my trip and fairly priced. I loved the quaint ambiance and feel of the property as it captured the spirit of New Orleans.
The room I stayed in was nice, but the furniture and the appointments seemed a bit dated and uncomfortable. I knew going in that the hotel was an older renovated property, so I expected small rooms and bathrooms. This was confirmed. The room felt small and the bath was cramped.
Any issues experienced by the room were overshadowed by the excellent service and care shown by the staff of this hotel. This service began two days before I arrived when I called the hotel with a concern and it was immediately taken care of by the Assistant Manager. The great service continued throughout my stay as the staff took care of my needs.
I come to New Orleans several times a year and I will be back.

Great Location & Service

A great location - on the edge of the French Quarter.
The Reception staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay.
The room was large and comfortable, with a good supply of coffee for the room coffee machine.
We found the lounge sitting area to be a great place to unwind after a busy day.
Also, the small pool was very welcome as it was so hot during our stay.
