Reasonably priced for overnight trip

We traveled to Houston for an event and stayed for one night. This hotel was right down the street from the event venue. Our room was less expensive than other places we had considered, which we liked.

The room could have been a little cleaner, and we experienced a maintenance issue with the shower/bathtub.

Our stay was satisfactory overall, and the hotel served its purpose.

Visited for a wedding. Price was high for what the hotel offered. Location does help this hotel, as it is located near some of the Indy attractions. Others you would need to drive to.

Nice Hotel - Pity about the Restaraunt

Hotel situated in great area for exploring the SW coast of Scotland.
Let down terribly by the cost and lack of choice in Restaurant, which should have been expalined at check in, or i would not have spent £50 for 2 of us for a 'buffet'

Sort out the parking!!

The hotel standard is good, the staff efficient, helpful and courteous, the food including breakfast good value and standard.
The Parking Eye log-in must have been defective and I received individual parking tickets for each of the days I stayed at the hotel, resulting in several emails to the hotel and time spent in a frustrated mood over the episode.
I am staying at another location in 2 weeks time and the parking arrangements have deterred me from booking with Holiday Inn Express.

If they say a pullout instead of a second bed is an upgrade go back home

We had reserved and confirmed a two bed room. Literally, about 90% of the way to our hotel for vacation they called. The previous guest didn’t check out; we’re going to upgrade you to a one bedroom suite for the same price BUT it has only one bed and a pullout couch… I would have slept better in the car while our kids stayed in the bedroom. That shouldn’t even be counted as a sleeping device. The mattress doesn’t keep the springs from being felt, it’s flimsy, the sheets don’t fit, I didn’t sleep for three nights and there is NO WAY that was an upgrade. I asked every day if we could get a “two bed” room but they were booked because of Cheyenne Frontier Days, which is why we were there… we booked our room three months in advance. CFD was awesome but we should never have accepted their “upgrade.”

Rooms not clean

Upon entering room after check in, found room not cleaned. Hotel mngt ‘upgraded’ my room which was just as dirty. Window shades didn’t work. Coffee maker didn’t work. No coffee in dining room. After 15 mins waiting for coffee, I departed. Cleaning and service needs improvement.

Beyond Disappointed

We have used IHG for years and we choose to not fo to other reward programs. This one said the pool was open. We called before we booked our stay. My godsons love swimming and we wanted something nearby then the staff don't communicate with each other. They opened it but it was dirty and needed to be fixed and cleaned. Broken chairs and trash galore. Very very disappointed with this facility.

Worst holiday inn

This hotel was terrible and nasty! Room smelt like smoke. There was old food still in the fridge. Air conditioner didn’t work and was offered a box fan. Dirty towels in the bathroom. The girl at the front finally was able to move us and yet again there were old dirty wash rags hanging from the shower curtains…

Bad experience

Bad hotel. During our stay only one channel worked on the TV, the elevators didn’t work, walls are so thin we could here every word from the room next to us. Lastly, our daughters air buds went missing while we were out. The only person in the room during that time was the cleaning crew. Front desk was notified about every item, and nothing was done. The only exception was they did work on the elevator. We won’t be back.

Should NOT be an IHG branded hotel

Although the main desk staff was very friendly, this "hotel" is not a place to stay if you enjoy a clean and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel was just plain dirty and old. Even the simple things to clean were not cleaned. The hallway looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in at least a month. The pool and surrounding area was dirty. There was dust on the furniture. Someone had swiped the top of the furniture the TV sits on, but behind the TV, the entire surface was covered in dust, the same was true for furniture holding lamps and the rest of the furniture in the room. The shower curtains were ripped and dingy looking. The bathroom was dirty. We had two rooms and one was not better or worse than the other, they were both far beneath my expectations after many IHG hotel nights in the past decade. If not for our flight being cancelled and losing our reservation at another IHG hotel as a result, there was no way I would have even stayed the night. Do not stay here.
