Smelly and Late

I had to wait 45 minutes for my room to be prepared. When we finally got in, the room wreaked of cleaning spray and one of the beds was wet because of said spray. Do not recommend.

Nice setup, but outdated rooms

I did like the "cabana" setup, making the hotel feel special.
However, the actual experience was disappointing.
- Room was dirty, long hairs found on bed and counters
- Fridge in room was very loud with an unusual high pitched sound
- Old/outdated room furniture
- When checking in I wasn't made aware that my rate had breakfast included

Comfortable bed and no air conditioning in the bathroom

Very comfortable bed. Friendly front desk staff. No AC in the bathroom, hallways, lobby and breakfast area. It appears to have been this way for some time. Staff was not concerned about not having AC. The bathroom in my room had zero air circulation and was oppressively hot. The walls were very thin and I could hear conversations of the rooms next door. Breakfast food was good quality with the exception of the watery coffee.

Holiday Inn Paris Palais de l’Elysée

A contemporary city centre hotel with free Wi-Fi, in a key shopping district near Champs-Elysées. Located in the centre of Paris, the Holiday Inn® Paris - Elysées hotel lies in the Golden Triangle, a high-end shopping destination for chic Parisians. Fashion boutiques line the nearby Champs-Elysées and Faubourg de Saint-Honoré, and major visitor attractions are easily accessible. It's a two-minute walk to Miromesnil Metro Station, and less than an hour by public transport to Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris Orly Airport. Be more intuitive to see a hot and sweating guest checking in and offer a glass of water
Notify guests that the name holiday inn Champs-Élysées, does not mean it’s close to the Champs-Élysées.
It’s rather a business area with very little restaurants
Rooms are small with no view and no space

The room was identified as a “executive room” but was nothing like that. Our second room was a normal room and was much better. We asked to be moved and each room was worst than the previous so we just resorted to accepting the below par room as best of the worst.

Disappointed but the staff was very nice

The first room we were given smelled terribly like cigarettes. The staff was very nice and gave us a new room. The door keys kept on failing to work so we had to keep going downstairs to have them magnetized again. The staff was nice about it, but it was still an inconvenience because it happened multiple times. It was not worth the money we spent on the room.
