Upon arrival was assigned a filthy room, stale fries and underpants of previous occupant on the floor, this coloured our opinion of the whole stay.

Original room given was filthy. Underpants of previous occupant down the side of the sofa bed. Stale fries on the floor, discarded sweet wrappers clearly visible under sofa bed. Sink still full of water. We arrived at 8pm so this was not a case of pressuring the staff to get the room ready. To be fair to the girl on reception she was mortified and gave us a new cleaner room on a higher floor. Only one of the two lifts in the property was working for the entire four days we were there. Breakfast is a free-for-all with limited space to accommodate guests. Encountered the local alcoholics and drug users within 90 second walk of the hotel entrance. The immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice, however this hotel is handy for the media city 10 minute walk away.

No reception warning on TV, room condition only fair

Not near the standard of the closed Crown Plaza on the other side of airport. Room was not clean, TV had no reception signal, too late to notify staff as I just tried to get some sleep. Breakfast quality was only fair.

Fun in August

We got a rate while enjoying the State Fair. The city shut the water off for 8 hours, but it was a small inconvenience at night. Great location, nice staff.

Great stay

The rooms are spacious and the amenity floor was excellent. All rooms have a balcony- a nice surprise.
Breakfast was better than I was expecting.
Walls seem thin as our neighbor kept banging on the wall when we were having a conversation in the living room area. I didn’t hear any hallway or neighboring noises during my stay, however.

Clean room and hotel. Late check-in due to short-staffed.

Room was great: clean, comfortable, fridge, a/c, etc. Housekeeping was short-staffed, so we had a late check-in after a long drive and emotional funeral of my father. Just wanted to rest before a family dinner, but had no time to do so.
