It was too cool when I arrived in my room.
Ari conditioner was very noisy through the night.
elevator was so old.
There was not any drinking water.

The hotel is only minutes away from the Willard Airport (CMI) . Enjoy our complimentary airport shuttle available 24 hours a day. Business travelers can enjoy our complimentary high-speed Internet access, in-room desk and 24-hour Fitness and Business Center. We also boast over 10,000 square feet of Meeting Space suitable for all size events.
We are proud to be just a few blocks away from AmDocs, Caterpillar, Kraft Heinz, Deloitte, General Electric, IL Fire Institute and Jimmy Johns ; just to name a few. Our hotel is fit to serve all corporate accounts! Make sure to ask for our Sales Department. They are eager and ready to serve your company.
Guests enjoy wonderfully delicious meals prepared by our full-service restaurant. Our on-site catering is available for any type of conference as well as private dining via room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Stolen Belongings; Complaint ignored

Whilst the bed was comfortable, it cannot overcome the fact our belongings were stolen from the room by hotel cleaning staff. ALL the towels were changed daily, regardless of whether they had been used, but the bathroom was never cleaned in the 5 days we were there, nor the toilet roll replenished.

Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Schiphol is located just one train stop away from Schiphol Airport and right outside Amsterdam, which gives it an ideal location. The most convenient and sustainable way to reach the hotel is per train which is a short 5-minute ride away from Schiphol Airport to Hoofddorp Station and from here the hotel is located on a short 9-minute walk. Between 05:30 and 23:30 trains with a stop at Hoofddorp Station depart every 5 to 10 minutes and costs €2,60 per person to be paid beforehand at a yellow ticket station at the airport. Alternatively, the hotel can be reached with a short 8-minute taxi ride which will cost approximately €30 one-way.
A daily free ‘Express Start Continental Breakfast’ buffet is available for all our guests. The modern hotel rooms are fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes free WiFi throughout the hotel, a television with various international channels, and complimentary coffee and tea-making facilities. Depending on your choice, your room has one double bed or two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and toiletries.
Amsterdam city center is located 15 minutes away from the hotel and if you are looking for an activity in nature, then the Haarlemmermeerse Bos offers many ways to explore. Let our partner restaurants pick you up from the hotel complimentary and enjoy a wide range of culinarian options.

Hidden costs

The hotel advertises as a schiphol hotel but is €35 away by taxi. It is in an area under heavy construction and repairs. The property is subpar. NO SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AIRPORT. That means €70 euros round trip. I rather use them in a nicer closer hotel to Schiphol next time.

Worst IHG Hotel for a long time

I have been pretty loyal to IHG for most of my recent travel, but this hotel makes me wonder if I should look at other companies.
The Hotel is in desperate for a refurbishment, it looks worn down and not clean, the beds are bad and on top of all when we asked for basic cleaning service we were advised you only provide housekeeping every seven days...!! That's crazy. If we would have known that in advance we wound't have booked this trip!

The hotel is located in the Hollywood Park neighborhood of San Antonio, and both business and leisure travelers will enjoy a comfortable stay in close proximity to a variety of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel is on Highway 281 North (San Pedro Avenue) near Thousand Oaks and provides quick access to major San Antonio highways, including Loop 410 and Loop 1604. The ceiling above the tub had long cracks in it. There was some dripping water. The facility was not up to the IHG standards. Staff was good though.

Don’t expect to relax here

Water shut off first morning there. Next day the FIRE alarms went off for several minutes, early A.M. At least they let us know they were going to shut off water that day. After being outside all day we returned to find no hot water to shower in. Left a day early, worst vacation ever!!!

This hotel is like a homeless shelter

The staff was friendly and caring. The hotel itself is like a homeless shelter. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke and people cooking dinner. The hotel room door did not lock correctly and I did not feel safe. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the beds were clean. The hotel itself is worn and in need of updating and repair.
