Very surprising for a Holiday Inn

Started well, greeted by very friendly staff. Went to the room and left our bags then headed out until after supper. At the end of a long day, got back to the room, discovered that the King Suite with jetted tub the we reserved didn't have the jetted tub. Also noticed that there were a lot of kids on our floor and the the walls were very thin. Also a couple of parent conferances in the corridor. Noticed an odd smell in the pillows but we were too tired and we had our own pillows anyway. The next morning, my wife went to breakfast before I did and spoke to the Person at the desk about the tub and the noise. Gave us a $50.00 refund. We opened the blinds to discover that the carpet was very badly stained, we realize that the renovations in the Hotel hadn't made it to the 2nd floor yet. The bed was another story. Stained sheets and pillows that smelled like "Old Skull Sweat" !Disgusting! Front desk person who was more interested in his phone call came out from the back when we checked out, explained the isuues and was told that because of constuction, these issues happened. Also said that we already had a discount and nothing could be done but he would report our issues to the Hotel Manager. They would contact us. Still waiting!

With a timeless design and modern facilities, the Holiday Inn Express Porto - Boavista is located in Porto's business center and just a few minutes walk from the city's biggest attractions. It is truly unique and ideal for guests travelling on business and looking to enjoy the serene, easy-to-concentrate environment with all the facilities that a business trip requires. In addition to its location and 91 rooms, the Holiday Inn Express Porto also offers co-working spaces and a restaurant that promises fast but delicious meals.

Fire alarm going off 2 nights in a row

During midnight 8th and 9th March, the fire alarm gone off not once not twice but 3 times on Saturday and 4 times on Sunday.. disappointing when the hotel team do not even acknowledge the inconvenience created by having to walk all the way down from 7th floor to ground, multiple times.
Also room 705 have an odd smell in the toilet that housekeeping failed to get rid, it is most probably caused by a design fault of not having u pipies installed in pipings. Stayed in this room twice and over 10 days in total over 4 months.
Lastly, reception could not provide an invoice during check out and promised to send by email. After 36 hours yet to receive. Not the standard that I associate IHG with..

A modern hotel 12 minutes by train from Leeds city centre, with breakfast included, free parking and free Wi-Fi.
Holiday Inn Express® Leeds - East hotel offers easy access to the North via the M1 and M62 motorways , ten minutes' drive away. Leeds city centre is seven miles from the hotel, with fast, direct trains from nearby Woodlesford station. It takes about half an hour to drive to Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) to catch a flight.
You can host a business meeting or a training day for up to 30 delegates in the Oulton Suite , which has natural daylight, overhead projectors, air conditioning and complimentary refreshments. If you're set for a long day, catered buffet lunches can be provided.
After a meeting, you can treat your clients to a round of golf at Oulton Hall Golf Club , a 10-minute walk away. The shops and restaurants of Leeds Trinity shopping centre and the nightlife of the Northern Quarter are a short train ride away, in the city centre. Welcome to the new Holiday Inn Express hotel in Alliance, Nebraska . This hotel is conveniently located near Highway 385 and Highway 2, and is located near shopping and restaurants. The Holiday Inn Express Alliance hotel is minutes from Carhenge, Alliance Knight Museum, and Dobby's Frontier Town . The property was completed in the summer of 2018 and is perfectly equipped for either business or leisure travel. The hotel offers guest rooms, complimentary high speed wired and wireless internet access, deluxe complimentary breakfast, business center, fitness center and indoor pool . The Holiday Inn Express is ideal for your trip to Alliance. While in town, you should visit attractions such as Carnegie Arts Center, Carhenge, and the Military Museum . The hotel’s new renovation was created to meet the evolving needs of the brand’s target guest who is looking for a simple, smart travel experience. The design features an appealing combination of fresh energetic and engaging elements creating a distinctive style that is evident at every touch point of the Holiday Inn Express brand experience.
Guests at the hotel can take advantage in and around Beaumont and enjoy the Big Thicket Park bird watching the Creole Nature Trail and the Cattail Marsh Wetlands or the Arts and Culture with many other beautiful attractions surrounding Beaumont. Just minutes from downtown hospitals Exxon Mobil Mead West Vaco, CenterPoint, Energy and Sabine River Authority.
The hotel features an outdoor pool /spa and fitness center. There are 250 square feet of meeting space, which can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people classroom style or 20 people theatre style. Guest rooms feature contemporary styling, comfortable king or two queen beds a sitting area with a lounge chair a work desk a safe and an inroom coffee machine, small refrigerator, 50 inch TV and a microwave.

I felt that this chain is in need some major changes, the first being the cleanliness of the rooms especially the bathroom. The carpets are in need of a change out or at least deep cleaning? The shower was a disaster, water Luke warm. Products acceptable ! Water one per guest would have been appreciated.

Little rest, uncomfortable bed, scary bathroom (did not utilize tub it was so bad. Awakened by front desk at 3:45 while they tried investigating a noise complaint. Won’t stay again.

IM A PLATINUM MEMBER AND STAYED HERE FOR 4 DAYS IVE ASKED TWICE TO GET ROOM SERVICE I WAS ADVISED THAT MY ROOM WOULD BE CLEANED UPON ARRIVAL AND STILL WAS LIKE I HAD LEFTED. I HAD TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO GET CLEAN TOWELS. I FOUND A BUG IN THE BATHROOM. I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE ANY LONGER.

When you stay at our new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Detroit-Dearborn hotel, Dearborn, MI, explore the city and discover fabulous shopping, dining, entertainment and arts. Getting here is fast and convenient, too! The hotel is centrally located between Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Livonia and we are just minutes off I-39.
Leisure guests are glad that The Henry Ford is just a half-mile from our property in Dearborn, Michigan. Hotel guests also enjoy visiting the Ford Field, Comerica Park, Little Caesars, Huntington Center and Greenfield Village. A number of great shopping malls, such as Fairlane Town Center and Laurel Place Mall are close to our hotel.

Not kid friendly

This motel is not kid friendly. There as a lot of kids in motel for Monster Jam weekend. We also had kids. We were constantly getting calls from front desk and had someone come to room saying they were being loud. They were not. It was only 830p at night and every time we walked across the floor there was a complaint. We were constantly trying to keep the kids on the bed because we were told if we had 3 times of complaints we would be asked to leave after paying over 400 dollars for two nights.
