Could be much cleaner and noise levels were completely unacceptable

Your staff was like warm at best at both check in and out for starters. The room we stayed in was definitely not as clean as it should have been from the carpets to the dust on the air conditioner to the mold in the shower. But the absolute worst part was how loud it was in our room. The walls are paper thin and the door on every room slammed automatically with such force our room shook any time a guest came and went anywhere near us.

Unimpressed and Disappointed

Almost all of my experience from my stay was disappointing, from customer service to the quality of the room. Even when I communicated my concerns, they were never addressed. Hopefully they improve on all aspects.

I was very disappointed with the lack of concern by hotel staff. We were given the incorrect room.
Therefore my 6ft 13yo had to sleep on a sofa (not a pull out). Supposedly they had no extra blankets for him to use.
Plus tons of ants in the pool area.

I’ve stayed at this property several times. In November, I noticed the property was in dire need of renovations. I was happy to hear on 4/15 when I checked in that the property was actually going under renovation.
We were assigned room 206. This room was unsatisfactory. The bathroom floor was uneven. The tiles were loose and someone tried to repair the floor with nails which are now rusty. It is unsafe and caused my foot to get scraped/cut. The grout is loose and stuck to the bottom of our feet. The bathroom is not only unsightly but a safety hazard. I took several pictures to document my findings.
In addition, the carpet was so dirty, my socks were soiled. The fabric on the chair was so disgusting we didn’t even want to sit on it.
I will not stay at this property again given the current condition unless I am guaranteed an update room.

Terrible hotel, terrible staff.

Got to your hotel only to find that one of your members had given my room that I secured two weeks in advance and paid for away we were put in a room told we could be moved into the original room the next day again went down to the desk and were told there was no room available When we first got there we were greeted by a girl that could hardly speak. English is very abrupt very unfriendly when we finally got into a room with a roll in shower by the way that is a very dangerous situation. He did take a shower and the water went all over the bathroom floor took every tile just towel in there to get the floor dry enough so he could safely move around. My husband is very disabled. Your accommodations are not up to par for anybody in his condition. The food was terrible. The staff was not friendly. We will never stay at a Holiday Inn again nor will I ever recommend your company we left early. Your company made my stay worse. I was there under horrible circumstances and your company made it 100 times worse couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Worst experience ever

I do not recommend this place ever to any one. Worst IHG experience ever. It started with the rooms not ready past 4:00 PM. We checked in at 6 and they took an entire hour to get the rooms ready under the pretext of “we are making sure the rooms are ready”. We requested connecting rooms when we booked it and they said they don’t have any such rooms. We requested a trolley for carrying bags and apparently they couldn’t find one in their entire hotel.
The staff were not polite and they acted like there is nothing much they can do to improve our experience. I booked three rooms and I will not book another Candlewood suite ever again.

Our clientele will experience true Southern Charm and Hospitality at its finest, here at the Holiday Inn® Rock Hill . We are located right off of I-77, and Dave Lyle Boulevard. We are a full-service hotel, and proudly entirely non smoking. Perfect for leisure as well as corporate travelers, we are conveniently located near Manchester Meadows, Winthrop University, and great local attractions. While staying with us, enjoy dining at our on-site restaurant Kems or discover the many other dining options within walking distance of the hotel. On your free time, take a stroll over to Rock Hill Galleria Mall located right behind the hotel, or take a trip back in time by exploring historic landmarks such as Historic Brattonsville, or the Museum of York County.

Room was good not the cleanest.What was aggravating that I made sure breakfast was included 3 times when I mad my reservation and it was not.

This facility is undergoing renovations. Find another place to stay until they get their amenities back. There is no restaurant; the pool is not available; they charged a temporary $100 fee for amenities when there are no amenities to purchase.
