Holiday Inn Express in the Heart of the Financial and Commercial District
Located in Plaza San Rafael and less than five miles away from the Toncontin International Airport , the Holiday Inn Express Tegucigalpa hotel is the best place to stay whether you come for business or for pleasure.
Right in the heart of the new financial and commercial district , this hotel in Tegucigalpa is less than one mile away from the Metropolis Business Tower and the main financial entities such as Bac Honduras, Davivienda and BCIE.
For those interested in getting to know the city, this hotel is conveniently located near the main avenues like Boulevard Morazan , Suyapa and Miraflores , making it easy to enjoy a variety of shops and restaurants.
After a long day, relax in the outdoor pool or visit the fully equipped Fitness Center . Each morning, enjoy the breakfast buffet provided to then stroll around Plaza San Rafael and enjoy a nice cup of coffee without even having to leave the hotel.

Bill copy not given at reception nor received by email as promised

Stayed at the hotel from 3rd April'2025 to 5th April'2025. While check out I requested for a physical copy of the hotel bill after payment but the same was refused, saying it will be sent by email. As of 16th April'2025, no bill copy is received. Only one email received from hotel with button for hotel bill, but upon clicking the button, next message is cannot get bill contact hotel. Cannot understand why an International Hotel Chain refuses physical copy of Hotel bill and neither sends it by email.
I am a member of IHG One Rewards as well.
PLease send copy of the bill at the earliest.

We were eating breakfast in the lobby and a grown man got in my 13-year-old daughter‘s face and was cussing her out so I cussed the man back out and the manager on duty said I was in the wrong. I will never stay there again.

So disappointed

So disappointed.
Having stayed here before we decided to return. We particularly enjoyed the light airy restaurant area where you could have a nice relaxed meal from an extensive menu.
When we arrived we were concerned that a different name was on top of the hotel. We parked up and managed to find a space - even though a huge section was cordoned off and unavailable. Sign to reception indicated it was round the back. We headed to an open door but were unsure where to go. There was a large group of staff congregated around the door. When they moved we could see they were in front of a reception sign. Reception was dark and dingy. Receptionist was welcoming and checked us in, and directed us to the lifts. We had to go through an area that was flanked by sheets of plastic and sticky tape. We found our room and noticed that next to it was a room blocked off with black cardboard and sticky tape.
Room itself was absolutely fine, clean, with comfy beds and everything we needed for a one night stay.
We scanned the QR code and spent a while looking through the menu and chose our preferences. Having gone downstairs we discovered that rather than the lovely airy place we remembered and had been promised online, instead it was a dark boxy room at the back of the hotel. It was empty and had no ambience and we were shown to a table and given a menu. This menu was a shadow of the menu we saw in the room - probably a quarter of the items were now available. Our choices had disappeared. We left and ate elsewhere. Apparently as the menu change happened at a weekend guests were not advised.
Whilst it is inevitable that hotels update and have building works sometimes - at least warn your customers.
The website was still showing the lobby and restaurant as it was on our last visit when we booked a short while ago. No mention of building works, restricted parking, closing of restaurant and new menu. Even the info in the room was completely wrong!!
They could have put an advisory on the website, and advised when booking of the restrictions. I had 2 emails inviting me to upgrade in the week before the booking but no mention of the changes. No mention was made at reception when we checked in. No amended menu was displayed in the room or outside the restaurant area until later in the evening. Breakfast was fine but again in the dark dingy box room.
We did have our car park refunded when we expressed our concerns on checkout.
The way they went about this and blindsided us showed total lack of respect for their guests. I prefer to stay at hotels that actually provide what you book or advise of changes. Most definitely will not go there again.

Worst experience ever

Start off with the few positives. The location is good, it's near stores and a ton of restaurants. The price is decent, though you don't get much for it. The "free" laundry room is filthy and it's a couple machines, most of the time at least 1 or 2 are out of order. The "cupboard" with food and drinks is priced like a theatre, absolutely insane prices. If you like loud guests around and above you, loud "parties" on the patio grill area, people smoking weed right outside the doors so all you smell is weed outside and in the halls and stair then this place is for you. Don't try to get anything from the desk, they never have it...towels, linens, a can opener, the carts for luggage are always missing and in someone's room. The common areas are always dirty and the hotel has a weird musty smell they try to mask with gross air freshener. Overall this place might be tolerable at best if it wasn't for the staff, they really push this place over the edge to terrible. I was overcharged hundreds of dollars by their staff and when I brought it up to them and showed them proof, they refused to do anything except tell me to dispute it with the bank. The second time they overcharged me or lost my charges they claimed i Hadn't paid in several days despite me showing them my charge on my card statement. Why would they let me stay, keep replacing my keys everyday and nobody said a word about thinking I wasn't paying until the GM got back from out of the country and claimed I owed for several nights I had already paid for. The assistant GM Ashley is terrible and very rude and nasty and should never be allowed in the hospitality industry. The GM Ridhi, who is on property maybe once a week, is just as indifferent and rude when it is their system or employees who screw up. Atul the afternoon desk person is more interested in his phone than his job and don't get me started on the incompetence of the day shift front desk people. Trying to get IHG corporate to do anything about the situation was futile as they just tell you it's an independently owned property so they direct you back to the crooked staff at the property. I eventually left and went down the street and for $10 a night more it's a whole other world. I had to file a police report with Plano PD after I left about the theft of my money or credit card fraud, whatever their shady staff is doing. Do yourself a favor and run far and fast this property...pay a few more dollars down the road, you'll be glad you did..

Ants in our room

We booked our room for two nights. I received an email showing I had two reservations. I called and they explained that they were doing a renovation and I would need to change rooms. The room was promised to be ready in the morning so we switch to our new room. Instead it wasn’t ready until an hour after they said it would be ready. When we woke up the next morning, ants were all over our room so we checked out immediately. I have wrote to the manager with no response.

Ants in my Bed

Everything looked good when we got there for the most part, some stains on the carpet in the room, woke up on morning 2 and there were hundreds of ants crawling around our beds. Fridge didn’t work when we got there, made due with our cooler, didn’t let them know about fridge till I left as by the time they got one that worked and cold we would have been leaving. The ants disgusted me though. They would only discount 30% of the stay, I felt 2 nights should have been comped.

I made reservations for 3/29-4/1 unfortunately I had to leave on the 30 and the hotel still charged me for the two nights and sad to say they refuse to give me a refund for the night they charged me that I did not stay that was the first and last time I stay there and would not recommend that hotel I feel like the manager could of helped me out

Welcome to the Newest Hotel in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, Staybridge Suites.

In town for the Kentucky Derby? We are located within walking distance from Churchill Downs. The (SDF) Kentucky International Airport is only 1 mile away. We are conveniently located to both interstates Interstate 264 and Interstate 65 Exit 132. Walking distance away from the Kentucky Exposition Center, Freedom Hall and Cardinal Stadium , all with in 1 mile from the hotel. The Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park is just located across the street from the hotel 0.5 mile away. Several businesses are within 5 miles, GE, Ford, UPS, Yum, Humana, and many more. The University of Louisville and Bellarmine University are just within 5 miles. Downtown Louisville and the Yum Center are just 5 miles away. All rooms have Queen Bed Sofa Sleeper sleeps like a Queen Bed a 50" TV with Full HD Channels, fully equipped kitchens and work spaces. Enjoy complimentary onsite laundry facilities during your stay.

HUGE disappoinment

Having stayed at the Home2 Suites right in front of this hotel I thought my experience would be similar. It was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival the first thing that you notice is the lack of maintenance. The green areas around the hotel are ankle high weeds. The plants in the planter beds are small, fake, plastic plants. The rooms were large and clean but again the maintenance. The bathroom door was a sliding door. The door was to small for the opening so you could see inside, leaving no privacy. There was no lock on the door and it was not huge level. The door would randomly slide open. When a family member entered the bathroom we would close the door and then place a shoe behind it to keep it closed. The shower door was another issue. The glass shower walls and door were not huge properly. There were large gaps that allow water to leave the shower and soke the floor. The food at breakfast was barely average but the bugs made it uneatable. There were knats all around the juice machine and flies inside the bread and pastry containers. I would not stay here again. The Home2 is a better option if you have to be close to the convention center.

Decent hotel but needs a lot of work

The Holiday Inn in Abilene by the mall is a decent hotel however the employees are kind of rude. The floor needed cleaning in my room and the noise level was awful.
