Disappointing

I like booking with Holiday Inn because of your dependable quality, service, and cleanliness. However, I was disappointed in my most recent stay. There was a candy wrapper on the floor and 4 jack daniel bottle caps in the nightstand drawer next to the holy bible. The tissue box was completely empty. The tub leaked and the toilet had stains. The USB ports were all broken and I was unable to charge my phone. The beds were not comfortable and felt like they were covered in plastic or something hard. If I were not so exhausted and hadn’t lugged in my stuff, I would have walked right out. The staff member who checked me in was wearing a champion hoodie and not easily identifiable as a hotel employee. I had to wait for someone to find her initially to be helped as well. This particular location discredits the Holiday Inn name and standard.

Horrible Experience

Not the first stay; but definitely the last. Even after coming after 5 pm; I had to wait for my non-smocking room readiness for around 20 minutes !
Upon entering the room; the smoking smell was SUPER and non-bearable. I went down to the reception and claimed about it (because no one was answering the phone); They said sorry but we are fully booked and this is the only room we can offer.

A smart stopover hotel at Aberdeen International Airport where breakfast is always included Holiday Inn Express® Aberdeen Airport hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the terminal. Our Park, Stay & Go package lets you catch flights and leave your car in the secure on-site car park until you get back. Major events at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre are a 15-minute taxi ride away. Hop on a bus at the airport to reach Aberdeen city centre in half an hour. If you’re in town on business, brief your team in our 12-person meeting room . Major companies cluster in the ABZ and D2 business parks nearby, and in the Bridge of Don district, a short drive away. If you've got time to relax, try a leisurely 18 holes at the seafront Royal Aberdeen Golf Club . Can not drop off your luggage at the front door.

This hotel does not allow guests to drop off their luggage at the hotel. Every taxi in town will not stop at this hotel as it has a parking eye at the entrance. You therefore have to walk with all your luggage. Also if you attempt to park your outside to drop off your luggage and check in you will receive a fine of £100.
I would advise you avoid this hotel at all cost unless you like paying £100 parking fines.

We are only one kilometre away from Kempegowda Bus Station and Bengaluru City Junction Railway Station. We are also close to attractions like Cubbon Park, UB City, Chinnaswamy cricket stadium, and corporate buildings like Canara Bank, RBI, NABARD, and State Bank of India Offices.
The 272 well-appointed rooms include 22 premium rooms with a private balcony and 22 suites with an individual living room and facilities like a microwave and dining area to attract long-stay guests. The hotel is in really bad shape. The staff is great, but quality is really bad. Shower barely worked.
I also left my shaver in the room and when I tried to call back and get it, nobody responded.

Room keys did not work several times

Website for this hotel was very misleading. Indicated free breakfast only to find I was being charged almost $13 dollars per person. The hotel had expired milk, yogurt and very cold danishes that looked at least 2 days old. Housekeeping did not clean during my stay. And , each day I had to go to the front desk to get washcloths and towels for 5 people in the room.I told by staff there were no regular towels and to use the pool towels. The employee, Kayla was very rude

More Like a Motel

Filthy outdated room. The bathroom door handle came off. The couches were soiled. All the furniture was dirty and marked up. The TV remote backs were either missing or taped on. The microwave was dirty. The pool water was cloudy. The inside of the pool cut up all my children. There was literal dirt on the tiles in the pool. The water fountain outside the pool had dirt pooled up in the drain. We reserved a room for a specific amount of guests and didn't have any toothbrushes or toothpaste. We didn't have enough body wash or lotion or towels and rags. I had to come out the pool and ask for more towels because the towels in the pool room weren't being replenished. The staff were not rude. That's the most i can say. What i will say though on a positive note is that the breakfast was delightful. There was a gentleman standing in the eating area greeting everyone and frequently refilling the food from the buffet before it was even empty and keeping the areas sanitary. That was literally the only good, and best part of our visit. I will never return to this location again. I came because I wanted to bring my kids to the pool and my youngest have never stayed in a hotel before. So it was a little mini family vacay. There first experience was ruined.

Not Up To IHG Standards

I’m genuinely surprised that IHG continues to brand this property as a Holiday Inn Express. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I noticed how dated and worn everything looked. It felt more like a budget motel than a hotel associated with a major international chain.
The king-size room, while clean, was also quite dated and lacked the modern amenities and comfort I’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. The television didn’t work properly throughout my stay, and the towels provided were incredibly rough—comparable to sandpaper in texture. These may seem like small things, but together they speak to an overall lack of attention to guest comfort and upkeep.
After this experience, I’m seriously questioning whether Holiday Inn Express is a brand I can continue to rely on. The consistently lower standards I’ve encountered recently are pushing me to explore other options. I hope IHG takes feedback like this seriously, because loyal customers deserve better.
