Visit the beautiful mountains of Eastern Kentucky at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Hazard, Kentucky. We are conveniently located off Highway 80 at 192 Corporate Drive, Hazard, Kentucky. With warm, welcoming hospitality and service we are second to none. We are located within walking distance to dining and shopping. Also, located just minutes from our hotel is Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park, which offers beautiful scenic views of the mountains, as well as, boating and fishing for the avid outdoorsman. In nearby Hindman, Kentucky the largest elk herd east of the Mississippi, can be viewed from the mountain vistas. You’ll soon discover why our guests have selected us as their preferred hotel in Hazard, Kentucky.
With our state of the art amenities and large spacious guest rooms, we offer a variety of room types from our Businessman’s Suites to our Family Suites complete with complimentary refrigerators and microwaves. I switched rooms 3times during this stay each room was worse than the previous one. This location really does need to be updated badly.

Dégradation totale

Je viens avec ma famille dans cet établissement depuis quelques temps et cette fois ci c’est la douche froide une dégradation totale des chambres qui sentent le tabac , pas d’oreillers supplémentaires, moquette ultra sale , pas de café soluble et quand on demande c’est 1h pour en avoir , on a oublié de mettre deux serviettes de bain pour nous , resultats 1h d’attente. Femme de chambre qui ecoute la musique a fond sur son telephone dans la chambre a coté, un gentil monsieur de la réception m a proposé de changer de chambre car bouilloire ne marche pas ! C’est malheureusement notre dernière fois dans cet hotel.

Top tier member here. Spend a lot of my time in hotels especially Staybridge and moved to IHG a few months ago from another brand. Took my family for my son’s birthday to Lubbock and was their first experience in IHG.
Checked in late that night when we got into town. No blankets, extra pillows or sheets in the closet for the pull out bed for my kids had to go down and speak to the front desk and wait outside the housekeepers door for him to hand me (2) pillows, sheets and a comforter... no help to get it to my room. Telephone in the room didn’t work. No power to it. TV in the living room wasn’t set up.. unplugged completely in the back so I had to plug everything in and then use the remote from the bedroom because it didn’t have a remote. The A/C didn’t work. It would come on for five to eight minutes and shut off for about 10. The room was almost 80 degrees.
They finally wanted to move us to a “queen size” room after my kids were already in bed. We refused.
I’ll never recommend this place. Makes me question if I messed up with making the switch.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel et ce fut une déception.
La chambre est bien agencée mais sans fenêtre donc impossible d'aérer. La climatisation est très bruyante, impossible de dormir avec.

Nous étions 4 et nous n'avions reçu que 2 tickets par jour pour le petit déjeuner. Le 1er jour on nous a demandé de régler 2 petits-déjeuners malgré le fait que j'explique que nous avions pris une chambre avec petit-déjeuner. Je me suis présentée à la réception et le problème fut réglé. Le restaurant a immédiatement procédé au remboursement.
Le remboursement étant effectif que plusieurs jours après le paiement, et le taux de change ayant évolué, le montant récupéré ne correspondait plus au montant payé. Ajouté à cela que la banque nous a facturé des frais. Nous avons donc perdu de l'argent à cause d'une erreur de la réception.

Durant tout le séjour, nous n'avons eu des serviettes pour 3 personnes. J'ai expliqué à la femme de chambre que nous étions 4 et elle m'a remis une serviette mais le lendemain nous avons retrouvé 3 serviettes dans la chambre. Le jeudi nous n'en avons eu que 2. Mon mari a demandé 2 autres et il n'en a eu qu'une et nous avons bien compris qu'il ne fallait rien demandé de plus.
Je me suis présentée à la réception pour obtenir une place de stationnement pour une nuit car on avait loué une voiture pour deux jours. La réceptionniste me fournit un QR code pour 3 jours. Je lui explique que la location est pour 2 jours donc un nuit suffit. Elle s'est agacée et m'a répondu que la location de la voiture est pour 2 jours donc c'est bon !
Elle était arrogante et les expressions de son visage montrait bien le mépris qu'elle avait pour nous. Elle n'en avait rien à faire de ma demande et de mes explications.

Lors du check-out, j'ai demandé à recevoir ma facture par mail (pour éviter l'impression). A ce jour je suis toujours en attente de ma facture. On m'a précisé que je n'avais rien de plus à régler. Une fois à chez moi, j'ai réussi à la consulter sur le compte créer sur le site de IHG et quelle ne fut pas ma surprise de constater que plusieurs nuits de stationnement ont été facturées. J'ai écrit au directeur en lui fournissant le contrat de location de voiture. Mon message et la relance sont restés sans réponse.
Cet hôtel facture donc des prestations non fournies et se sert sur la carte bleue comme elle l'entend. Les preuves ne servent à rien...
