Valets Totaled our Car

Our experience at this hotel was overshadowed by a serious incident with their valet service. While our vehicle was in their care, it was totaled in an accident
We were left with no choice but to file a claim through our own insurance, which is completely unacceptable given that the damage occurred while the vehicle was under their supervision.
The lack of accountability and customer service has been incredibly frustrating. We expected better from a professional establishment. I strongly caution anyone considering staying here—especially if you plan to use the valet service.

Holiday Inn San Antonio Northwest

The Holiday Inn Northwest University Heights hotel offers spacious guest rooms and full suites, microwave and refrigerators in each guest room. Our famous hot breakfast buffet is a favorite, with the sparkling indoor pool, free internet, fitness and business center. With easy access to San Antonio International Airport, Military friendly, we are easy access to JBSA – Camp Bullis and Fort Sam Houston for our military groups and training programs. Our groups love to mingle and have "Ice Breaker" receptions at our Lobby Bar before going out to dinner at great local restaurants.

Bad Experience

Very bad experience when we arrived the front desk man no hace experience el pass my Card much times and block my reservation and we have to Pay an Otther rooms for that night.
The las night the hotel has a problem with Water and we have to move an other hotel at 11:00 night, the problem start at 4:00 and Cant repair the problem

Holiday Inn Brussels - Schuman

Holiday Inn® Brussels Schuman hotel, set on a quiet road, is a two-minute walk from Schuman metro station and brings you to the city centre within 15 minutes. Brussels-Schuman train station is a seven-minute walk away and offers a direct train connection to Brussels Airport every 30 minutes. To do so, take the IC2510 train to Namur & Dinant and get off at Brussels-Schuman station. In 15 minutes by car, you are at Brussels-Midi train station for all international train connections. The hotel offers parking for a daily fee. Do you do a lot of video calls? Stay connected with free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. You can walk to the European Parliament, the European Commission headquarters and the Albert Borschette Congress Center in five to 10 minutes. The beautiful Cinquantenaire Park, houses several museums, including Autoworld. At Place Jourdan, you'll find a kiosk with Belgian fries, one of the best in the city. Four metro stops away, in the city center, you can admire the surrealist artworks of the Magritte Museum. The comfortable rooms offer a pillow menu for a good night's sleep, and Kids Stay and Eat Free. Wake up to an American breakfast buffet with Belgian waffles and enjoy a snack from the international menu in the hotel's brasserie, Bar Del Mundo. End the day with a Belgian beer in our open lobby. Bed was ok

Wasn’t happy at all with the experience at the hotel. Still awaiting response from hotel manager about my complaint of a rat I had seen in the hotel lobby. Not impressed at all.

Comfortable Bed and Great Location. Hotel has nice pools and very family friendly

Best location in Aruba. Beach bar food and drinks were not great. The lobby bar was a lot better. The check in took over an hour. On average it took 20 min per family. This is very long in my opinion. When we came home, we realized our credit card was charged over 2600 dollars. It was a prepaid reservation. I've been trying to contact the hotel to resolve it but no manager is ever available. They don't have a toll free number and keep putting me on hold for 30 min on international call. I am yet to resolve this issue.

Do not stay here

Outside weeds everywhere trash cans overflowing man seemed to be living in van out front very unsafe feeling inside filthy dirty rooms rusty moldy bed had grit in it
Very worn and old
Will not return only good thing it is a great location to shopping and restaurants

Parking Garage Issue

I called the front desk to open the parking garage door when I arrived at the hotel. When I attempted to enter the parking garage, the garage door started to close down. I immediately backed my vehicle in reverse to avoid damage. Since hail was forecast for the area, I wanted to park in the garage. I parked my vehicle in the parking lot because the mechanism of the garage door was concerning. Unfortunately, my vehicle was very damaged about 6 am on 4/18/24 from hail (many large cracks in windshield, broken side mirror backings, broken taillights, many dings and pockmarks all over the vehicle.
The hotel needs to correct its parking garage door so a guest has plenty of time to safely enter.

Awful

Entire place is damp smelling. Started in the lobby. Stronger in the room.
I just chalked this up to location.
Pull out sofa mattress was dirty, and the frame was bent and lopsided.
Boxspring of one bed was also broken. Creaked loudly every time someone moved. This prevented anyone from getting a good night sleep.
The following morning, the shower handle fell off at the end of my husband’s shower. He could not turn the water off without grabbing a towel to grip the small screw inside the guts of the handle.
After this, the three other guests could not shower.
It was close to checkout time, so he brought this to the desk clerk’s attention when checking out. No compensation was offered. Worst part was no apology was offered either.
He was simply told “ok, you will receive an email”.
I do not write negative reviews often, but this was honestly the worst hotel stay we have ever had. And it was not handled appropriately by staff.

Comfortable bed and rooms were well soundproofed

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quite soundproofed. The magnetized key cards gave us a shock every time we opened the door. Don't bother with the so-called free breakfast. Vouchers are needed And they initially only wanted to give two vouchers per room and we had two adult and one child in one of the rooms. It wasn't a typical Holiday Inn breakfast buffet experience, the vouchers were at the restaurant attached to the hotel and you had to choose between 5 pre-selected meals and the toast was considered a separate purchase. Also, you have to worry about giving a tip because it's a restaurant. When I return to the Mall of America area, I will look for a different hotel.

Not a bad hotel, just bad experience

They checked me in on Sunday and hit my card for 1 night. But apparently they did not really check me in on their system because the next afternoon, someone tried to open my door while I was in the room. The front desk had given him a key for my room and when I asked about it at the front desk, they said that the system had my room as being empty. That would explain why the maid service did not come to my room Monday. It was a good thing I was in my room, otherwise he could have walked in and stole everything I had in the room!

After explaining this to the mgr, she said she would add extra bonus points to my account, but it has been a couple of weeks now and still no extra points. About the only good service I got was from the lady bar tender. And after all that, I needed it.
