Clean rooms, friendly staff

Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in a while! My only complaint was that our room was right next to the elevator and you could hear it, which was a bit annoying. Staff was great and we felt very safe in our hotel.

Nice Stay

Love this hotel, have stayed before. The staff is amazing! Got breakfast included as it is a good deal and sometimes not easy to get breakfast in area.
Great local transportation and even very easy to get to airport by bus.
Very nice and relaxing pool.
Laundry machines not working especially when I packed accordingly and they were out of order all week!!
The previously open balconies are now shut permanently so no fresh air.
Also, 2 weeks before my trip, Travelocity was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than ihg.com where I booked. I called customer service and they couldn’t do anything to help so that was very disappointing.
Will definitely stay again but may book on third party site.

Disappointed with service

During our 6 night stay we had to call reception for towels after they had been taken away and not replaced on 4 days. In addition there was obviously a fault in their key cards system as our (that’s both mine and my husband’s) cards kept failing. We were told it was our fault each time which was ridiculous. The TV also did not work for 2 days.

Upon checking in, I was told breakfast was at 630-930. Was given my room key. Told the elevator was to my left. No welcome to holiday inn/nashville. No thank you for being a reward member. Hotel had a musty smell, 1 of the 2 elevators was broken. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was rock hard, no extra blanket in the closet. Next morning got up early for breakfast; waited 10 minutes past breakfast start time before they opened; just to find out a voucher had to be purchased for entry to breakfast. (At a fee) I turned and walked out. I had a flight to catch (bit of a drive first) and would not be able to stop for breakfast until much later; was not even allowed to get a fresh cup of coffee. Very disappointed in the IHG property.
In the bar area there was a table covered in beer bottles and glasses left from the night before. No one had cleaned the area.

Called maintenance to fix it, they could not kept telling us nothing was wrong, even thou thermostat was clearly not working and room was uncomfortable. Last communication was to open the window,

The hotel was clean however the air conditioning noise in the room was awful, found the rooms to be very small no actual closets, had to hang you clothes on wall hangers.

Dirty Socks in Bed

The hotel in nice. I have stayed here previously, on this occasion I got into bed around midnight and there were a pair of dirty socks in the bed. I ended up sleeping on the chair in the room. Correspondence from hotel regarding this has not been great. With no apology given with regards to the room not being clean.

I should off looked the review before booking!!! This hotel is such a disappointment. Came to check in a the room I booked wasn’t available yet. we was able to get the room, the room was dirty the ac was falling apart, no to say the mirror in the bathroom broken so there was barely any light in the restroom. Stain sheets and not to say the pillows protector haven’t been changed in ages, literally YELLOW. Room phone didn’t work had to call front desk with my cellphone.Parking is really limited on the side of the hotel. there was any room and ended up paying 40 for a parking. Breakfast even worse there was not food out at all EVERYTHING WAS EMPTY and no one out there to make sure food was stocked, there was just coffee and cranberry juice as drink options. Let me say I’ve been working for ihg company for the past 5 years. And this place is unacceptable.

Stay away from this property. Pool closed for more than a year. Breakfast non-existing and was at first charged for this non-service. Event blocked almost all guest spaces in hotel.

Room was wet. Carpet was wet. There were ants in the room. They came in and vacuumed some of the water and that was it. I kept getting texts asking how my stay was. I replied there are ants in the room. No response after that at all. Workout room was extremely old and gross, with no towels to wipe anything down. Big expensive rip off.
