Hotel was ok and social hour food was acceptable. What is not acceptable is the water shower pressure. I had to run around to get wet. Hotels should charge extra and remove all the water restrictors in the shower heads. I do not like this and evey hotel i stay in will get the same review.

Room was disgusting

Room was absolutely disgusting. Hairs were stuck to the bathroom sink, rancid chocolate milk was left in the mini fridge, smashed up alarm clock was behind the night stand with other garbage. I avoided the breakfast because if my room was that dirty, how clean was the food prep area? Pool area was slightly better.

The rooms where filthy with mysterious fluids on the chairs and mirrors. Multiple stains on the walls and floor. Toilet was clogged before we even used it. TV's didn't work our whole stay. Key cards never worked even when we received replacements ones. Elevators never worked we had to haul all our stuff up and down the stairs to the third floor. The shower curtains looked like they were very old and needed to be replaced. This placed needed a lot of update and deep clean. Multiple people in our group that were suppose to stay at this hotel ended up cancelling their stay due to the filth of the rooms upon arrival (one room when they walked in had a used condom on the floor, gross!) I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

I was charged over 60k in points to stay in this DUMP of a hotel this weekend. We learned prior to arrival that the pool was 'closed for repairs'. We were going to try to reschedule, but many of us had used points, and it's not an easy process to cancel the reservation and get points back, so we continued on with hopes that at least the public spaces would allow our group to convene for alternate 'down time' activities.
Upon arrival, there was NO signage on the exterior to indicate this was a Holiday Inn Express. We walked in the lobby to check in to find a dazed looking man that wreaked of marijuana. Said 'employee' was seen walking the halls, parking lots, etc the rest of weekend - always appearing in the same 'dazed' condition...causing concern for our younger families. The main attendant at the desk was about the ONLY redeeming part of the experience.
The lobby/entrance didn't look like the pictures, (dark, different furniture, holes in the walls, etc) but we had higher hopes for the rest of the spaces. Unfortunately our experience only got worse. Our room was disgusting. It smelled like mildew and garbage. We opened the window, but the screen was torn out. Stains or some kind of 'substance' on the curtains. The bathroom had clearly not been vacuumed, and the slip mat in the bottom of the bathtub had grime/dirt around it, seeming like it had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. We were forced to wear shower shoes. No toilet paper upon arrival, so I went back to desk to ask for that and more towels...I've never seen such low quality towels, rags, etc - yellowed and stained...strange texture - awful. The water coming out of the bathroom faucet was brown. The shower made a constant groaning noise. 'Dirty' handprints on the walls. The plate covers for the power/light in the bathroom made me want to wear gloves to touch everything.
I CANNOT believe this is even allowed to be open, let alone that IHG is booking rooms through their name. We were told by the front desk employee that this hotel is 'in transition' and that it is not going to be an IHG moving forward. The second day there was a banner on the front that said "kalamazoo hotel" or Inn...clearly not part of the franchise. I would like to request a refund of my IHG points, and would suggest you take this off your website and remove all affiliation with it. This is a disgrace to your brand! I would appreciate someone reaching out to me asap.

The link received sent us to the wrong address (big waste of time), the room was very shabby (the bathroom had peeling paint, caulk and grout peeling and dirty and the shower head pipe is loose and wobbling around the wall), the bed sheets were extremely threadbare and the room faced the interstate and it was very noisy.

Poor service, over charged, pool area wide open for any outside person to use

I would not recommend this hotel at all! It needs to be update, pool are controlled to allow only people staying there. They said you need a wristband and not one person had one on, doors to pool area no key needed so anyone can come in and use. Service is the bar was horrible and when the staff did acknowledge us they where rude.

Comfy Bed. Terrible breakfast.

The room itself was ok, but the breakfast was terrible. The shower didn't drain well and the bathroom held moisture, so everything became very damp after showering. Breakfast: the sausage was rotten, the biscuits were overcooked, and the juice was watered down. Pool wasn't opened so double check before you book.

Friendly staff, decent amenities, terrible room placement

If you get placed in room 120, i suggest asking to be moved. The placement near the pool, lobby, and sharing a wall with the elevator shaft makes trying to relax or sleep quite a problem. The noise level is quite excessive.
